Indeed, agreed! The issue is for so many years how can the world allow TSMC to monopolize produce 90% of the world’s most advanced chips? Isn’t there diversity and alternatives?

Well I am sure their ongoing partnership and commercial agreements, Sony will still receive a very small allocation of production by TSMC as goodwill. Spread that very small quantities globally and a small city like sg may get a small number of PS5 every quarter.

Fab business is like that, all about scale.

TSMC is the most advanced in manufacturing process so it’s also the cheapest at the same time. 1 wafer can make more chips than others.

But mainly for high end chips, less advanced ones a lot can make, even in SG.

I got mine day 1, but I have so many friends still waiting for a PS5 but can't get theirs.

i suspect this might be an official retailer if he can sell at this price at this quantity. so he's already profiting over the profit margin as a retailer... i would suggest not posting all these links to promote for them
