Wish wukong release a demo.... and no physical disk at launch? Then, I'll likely wait,,,,
Yes, no demo to even try. I was looking forward to it. Hopefully one when nearing the release date. Wait and also watch/read the reviews first, quite skeptical these days.

No disc, easy pass. Not going to buy it. Simple as that. No interest in paying full price for a digital-only title. Can't resell if I don't like the game or after completing it.

In Wukong's case, it seems more of a logistics/distribution issue for Game Science, considering it's their first foray into console gaming. Though that's no excuse for the lack of discs at launch, as Lies of P & Stellar Blade got a physical release despite both coming from new & relatively unproven devs.

Xbox version of BMW were also affected & even got delayed, probably due to optimization issues with Series S. My guess is physical copies will eventually release next year, just a matter of time.

On a related note, Alan Wake 2 physical copy finally arrive this October, a year after release. Low sales numbers of being digital-only likely part of the reason that made them to reverse course.

Companies tend to made up many excuses of why they're not doing physical, but gamers see right though it. That's why it's important to vote with your wallet.

A description of how the combat of Phantom Blade 0 feels (in Chinese). From what I can pick up, it sounds promising. Fast pace, combo focused...

Too bad, no demo on the ps store for now, probably have to wait until all the listed events are over. They also made it more encouraging by not respawning defeated enemies near you until you go far from it. I didn't quite catch the stamina management with powerful ranged weapons part but I saw some sort of balance so players cannot abuse, which is something I like. Ferocity, speed, bosses design, not too OP, on my radar now.

I think is switching to the other main weapon replenish your "杀气" (stamina) so you can continue to attack, but weapon will have cooldown time. (powerful secondary weapon drain stamina as well and some other limits?)
he also says you basically auto block most of the enemies' attack? I don't know how's that feels....

ya, nothing beats than to feel the combat yourself with a demo. (after Tokyo Game show? hopefully)

The 血滴子 (Guillotine) not only one-shot the protagonist but is also brutal to watch during the final boss fight of the demo. Just decapitate off the head like that. I remember there is a Chinese movie by the same name years ago. I hope this game will do well in the near future. Asian studios on the rise. (y)

This looks a lot more interesting and action packed than wukong. Wukong's game mechanics look gimmicky to me, I dun like how the player can just destroy enemies with some cool looking gimmicks.

I believe there will be more of such. You probably may get turned off even more. I feel that it gives Wukong that personality. He is a monkey and monkeys are playful. The original Journey to the West also portrays Wukong's playfulness. I like how the devs incorporated that into his skills. I wouldn't put these 2 games side by side to compare though.
