Good limited time offer from SingTel, only for new users.

Just saw SingTel Jurong Point Shop has the limited time promotion for 10Gbps plan with HB810 at S$38.90 per month.

This is a very good offer from SingTel. HB810 has dual 10G ports, dual 2.5 ports, triband WiFi 7 BE22000.

https://www.tp-link.com/sg/service-provider/wifi-router/hb810/

As usual, this offer is only for new users as per the shop staff.

For recontract, you have to negotiate with SingTel.

Just saw M1 Shop Jurong Point has the S$30.90 per month 10Gbps without router offer again for Chinese New Year, just like the Christmas offer. It is supposed to be for new users only.

The website still shows S$34.90 per month now.

Latest M1 Physical Shop Promotion

The above offer is still valid as of today 5-Mar-2026.

This S$30.90 per month M1 10Gbps plan new user offer is still there as shown at M1 Shop Jurong Point today 5-Mar-2026. I first saw it on 13-Feb-2026.

I just checked with the staff. He is not sure when the offer will end.

For recontract, you have to check with M1. There may be targeted offer as per the staff.

The above offer is still valid as of today 5-Mar-2026.

Now this M1 physical shop new user offer shows up on M1 Website, at even cheaper S$29.90 per month for M1 10Gbps plan without router.

I do not recommend the integrated ONR plan myself. The price has been refunded to S$30.90 per month.

m1 websited updated with this now.

SIMBA 6th Anniversary Promotion
SIMBA Broadband - $0.99 New Sign-ups promotion….
To translate this offer, by my math this is approximately equivalent to S$29.18 per month on a 24 month (actually 720 days) contract with a “free” eero Pro 7 wireless router and home phone line included.

Hilariously the bundled eero Pro 7 doesn’t have any 10GBASE-T ports. The best you can do with a wired device is (notionally) 5GBASE-T — one wired device. Which is a lot, but it’s not matched to the purported fibre line speed. Like a lot of other broadband providers posting “marketing numbers” for their notional fibre line speeds, you can’t actually use the fibre speed they purportedly provide. Not with the “free” bundled equipment anyway. But for Wi-Fi it’s reasonable. (Wi-Fi devices can only ever use a fraction of a notional 10 Gb/s fibre line speed in the real world.)

I’d guess the “Carousell value” of the eero Pro 7 is probably about S$200. Let’s round that to S$8 per month on a 24 month/720 day contract, so if you’re trying to compare costs this SIMBA promotion is probably about S$21.18 per month with this promotion. Which is inexpensive, but it should be. For “ordinary” home Internet users it’s probably fine, but the “geeks” (including me) prefer an ONT (or bridged ONR) and a public IPv4 address, at least dynamic. SIMBA offers CGNAT with an ONU — not what the geeks prefer.

WhizComms is very close to matching this offer. They actually cost less if you want to keep the bundled wireless router: $28.74 per month equivalent. But their bundled router, a TP-Link Archer BE400, has a lower “Carousell value” (maybe equivalent to S$5 per month), 2.5GBASE-T ports, a shorter security lifespan, but more functionality. WhizComms offers an ONR (which you might or might not figure out how to bridge), dynamic IPv4, no IPv6, Singtel core service and routing. Home line is included. I think I’d probably choose WhizComms over SIMBA in this comparison. And there’s no need to venture to Marina Square. You can sign up for WhizComms online.

I think what Simba is doing about it's marketing to clearly targeting SingNet customers. Yes, SingNet or now Singtel Fibre customers. Because these specific group of customers do not know what they want, they do not know some general technical specs. They will be the one to ask why I subscribed 5gbps fibre and I did not get 5gbps download speed on my phone and laptop .

I always hear Singtel customers very noob about all these. So Singtel "simplify"everything, and held everything back and make it simple. Take their ONR for example, general consumers don't even care, they just want their wifi. But their own routers always have reliability issues. Then they are the set of customers who only believe in Singtel, and not looking elsewhere like Starhub or M1. They have the thinking, Singtel is government, Starhub and M1 use Singtel network.

As the discussions go on, I think Simba target them by simplying to the general consumers. While Starhub and M1 target those who know more and want ONT and use their own routers. ViewQuest and MyRepublic is another story.

Eight's "88 days" promotional home Internet deal is a very good one. By my math it works out to S$31.92 per month on a 24 month contract, and it includes a "free" eero Max 7 wireless router but no home phone line. I think you can sell that eero Max 7 unit on Carousell for at least S$264 (S$11 per month equivalent) if you don't want to keep it, so that drops the monthly equivalent price down to ~S$20.92 or lower. And that's for 10 Gb/s fibre broadband service with an ONT, a public dynamic IPv4 address, and a public IPv6 (/64) address.

In short, I would choose Eight's offer over SIMBA's. If you happen to have an Eight 5G mobile plan it gets even better. If you want the home phone line I think I'd choose WhizComms over SIMBA at the moment.

@xiaofan: Here are some WhizComms updates I spotted:
  • The WhizComms "2.5Gb/s" plan has been removed from their main page. They still have it quietly posted here, and only on a 12 month contract basis. But their 2.5 Gb/s plan doesn't make economic sense for new subscribers even if it's still available. That's because their installation fee and NLT activation fee apply to their 2.5 Gb/s plan. Existing 2.5 Gb/s subscribers should still be able to renew at $28 per month according to their T&Cs.
  • All their 3 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s plans now include a home telephone line at no additional charge. (Post #2 upthread lists their previous home telephone line fee, but evidently it now only applies to some existing subscribers and legacy plans.)
  • For those who cannot commit to a 24 month contract WhizComms has a very compelling 12 month contract offer at $28.99 per month for their 3 Gb/s plan including free installation and activation. In terms of price it very slightly undercuts Eight's 12 month contract offer since Eight uses a 30 day billing cycle, not a true monthly billing cycle. And WhizComms tosses in a free home telephone line; Eight doesn't offer that. If you can figure out how to bridge the ONR WhizComms supplies, it's great. However, Eight still costs less if you also have Eight's 5G mobile service.

Maybe it makes sense to have a dedicated page for sub-24 month contract offers? I think there are only 3 ISPs still offering less than 24 month contracts: Eight, SIMBA, and WhizComms.

I have updated Post #2 and #3 as per your suggestion.

1. I have not added a dedicated post for sub-24 month contract plans yet. As of now, I have added the note in Post #3.

Take note Whizcomms 3Gbps only comes with 24 months contract now.
https://whizcomms.com.sg/3gbps-broadband/

MyRepublic offers no contract 10Gbps plan.
https://myrepublic.net/sg/no-contract-10gbps-broadband/

++++ added in Post #3 +++++++++++
Most of the plans come with 24 months contract. Exceptions are listed below.
1) Whizcomms offer 12 month contract 2.5Gbps and 10Gbps plan
2) SIMBA offers 12 month contract 10Gbps plan.
3) eight offers 12 momth 10Gbps plan.
4) MyRepublic offers no contract 10Gbps plan.

https://myrepublic.net/sg/no-contract-10gbps-broadband/
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

2. I have also added a note for WC 2.5Gbps plan.

For new users, $59.95 WhizComms Installation Fee and $61.04 NetLink Trust Activation Fee apply for Whizcomms 2.5Gbps plan. Therefore it is better to go with 3Gbps or 10Gbps plan.

3. I have edited the info for Whizcomms digital voice.
