I feel like samsung is holding back the horses now on the S series phone and concentrating more horse power into their Note series, like silently telling u to jump ship over to Note.

Perhaps. With the size of the S5 being comparable to the Note 3... I really don't see why one would go for S5.... For the water resistant feature.....? For the heartbeat sensor.......? Or for the plaster design.....?

Some will do it just to boast they have the latest phone and also some people just push off the idea of taking a 5.7" phone. I have friends who thinks the note 3 is too big for them.

Note 3 screen size 5.7" and S5 screen size 5.1" but if you compare the physical dimensions..... They are almost the same.

No, they are telling consumers to jump ship to other brands. Cheaper, better and faster! No useless gimmicks, bloatware and ugly interface. Samsung has lost their marbles.

Those tech companies often use sales as a very good indicator whether there is anything wrong with the product lines.

If they keep releasing products with incremental updates and the sales didn't drop but increase, it only tells them there is nothing wrong with what they are doing.

Only when sales start to drop, they will pump in money into R&D and start to innovate. Just look at HTC and Sony. Maybe Apple also, since they are feeling threatened.

I got the S3 intending to upgrade to S5 but too bad.

Terrible lousy phone

I rather get the HTC M8
This phone still trying to hide its useless mono speaker at the back unlike HTC M8 which features dual frontal stereo speakers. Still using cheap bandaid plastics while HTC already went full metal unibody.
Moreover, this phone has thick bezels and not to mention tons of bloatwares which takes up more than 50% of its 16GB internal storage. What the heck is that Kids Mode bloatware on this silly phone?

5.1" with only lousy 2800 mAH, which year are we living at now? good luck with your Screen On Time.

Overall, I will give this phone 2/10.
Once Samsung will never return again.

I will aim the HTC M8 which is much superior and much more innovative.

Not to say I completely disagree with you.. But wow you know the specs of a un-announced phone already?

s4 is pretty good already so s5.. also good lah. wait for s6 if you want more features. same as apple the product is mature.

s5 better camera screen battery processor is good. i think sony z2 can fight especially with 3G ram and bigger battery.
