sad... why still plastic? battery why stick to 2800... and not above 3000?... why no UHD?

All these doesn't matter. What I want to ask is why is it still bloody so expensive at 1k? Thought they have moved the manufacturing to China and Vietnam.

Because they are indirectly asking the customers to pay for their marketing campaign? Haha

cuz is somesong.
u pay for the brand.. not the specs or design

Last time I buy Korean brands because they are cheap. Now I buy them not because they are branded, its because they are all over the place and the rest can't catch up.

Anyway, I am waiting to see what G3 and Nexus 6 can offer then.

2gb ram not enough for android phone? Wow sure speaks of its' inefficiency.

Samsung has no idea what to copy from ip5s. They only managed to grab the fp sensor. Didnt have time for flat ui and 64bit cpu. Anyway didnt i heard someone said 64bit cpu is useless for mobile? So why bother copying?

Not arguing anything here, but just pointing out once again that if it's really the Snapdragon 805 processor in the phone, perhaps you might want to check your statement on "64bit cpu".

As for "why bother copying", this is one of those statements that sounds fun to throw out, but when you think about it, Samsung doesn't even make that processor, nor do they even have a choice. The company responsible for this isn't Apple either.

Bro, okay. Noted your point. Back to basic it is indeed.

So, let me know when a silver Pro 2 arrives in your shop then. ;)

Did i see a fingerprint scanner? Placing at the same position as iphone?

When i saw the iphone 5s.. i told ppl now samsung know where to put the fingerprint scanner.. and bingo.. the s5 now comes with a fingerprint scanner...

And a waterproof plaster at that. Hahaha

Seriously speaking, this is really a blind following of the color trend. Plaster looking thingy that probably costs a $1000?!

woohoo imagine how much samsung is earning!!

Weren't you just posting "don't get so worked up" up there?

Again I don't care much for Samsung's lawsuits, but I kinda hate the way everyone has one point of view that is so incredibly myopic that I can point out exactly what the masses are going to say even before they say it.

Where else is there to put that fingerprint scanner? On top of the camera? The smartphone's design is pretty much set. Putting the fingerprint scanner elsewhere is not innovation, just like putting a 5th wheel on a car is not innovation. Being the first to do something like that (and Apple is not the first to put a fingerprint scanner on a phone) also doesn't confer one the sole right to doing that thing. That's a pretty shitty world to live in if I may say so, because historically the first people to do something weren't always the best at it - look at how many Fords there are on the roads these days eh?

How come when Samsung puts something like a Wacom stylus on a phone, nobody talks about it as being innovative? That's right, because nobody frickin' knows the challenges involved in doing something like that and what sort of innovation is required to make it possible. People criticize it for being useless too. Well, where I work, I see more people using the S Pen than Touch ID.

And that fruit company's brilliant and innovative notification center was put at the top of the screen, long after Android had it. If we're going to throw around accusations of being copycats, let's be fair and throw it at EVERYONE and not just one company. Because it's seriously getting tiring read the same old POS on the internet.

Ermm.. Why didn't they put a fingerprint scanner on s4? Fingerprint scanner was used long ago right? It should be on the s4 to show the world they innovate. They have motorola razr series as case studies result proven as futile..

Apple didn't invent fingerprint scanner.. My point is they bother to spend, use brain juice, money and decided how the fingerprint scanner is to be use..

Then dear Samsung came and said, oh.. This is how the fingerprint scanner really works, let's put it on s5 and then we see how it goes. Bingo! 0 dollar spend.

No one can detrone note series. Samsung took risk and innovate and note 3 is now the best selling phantablet. This is the result of hardwork and creation.. credit have to give to samsung.

As for s series... cant say much about hardwork putting in.

By the way, no work up. debating debating. No hard feel. It's a process before the real set comes.

S5 have no WOW factor at all....

actually i don't mind no WOW factor. But putting a 2GB RAM and 2,800mAh battery is just not acceptable. I am not asking for a large 4000mAh battery, at least a 3,200 mAh battery and 3GB RAM. This is not asking for the sky in today's context.
