chat with Singtel whatsapp SA a few days ago regarding my expiring plan, whether it is possible to recontract at the same price of $15.28 at the same terms. the SA said will get back to me but no respond. dropped a message early this morning to check any updates, till now, the whatsapp message is still 1 tick.

guess singtel don't want me as a customer anymore, time to port out

the 15.28 they are unable to check for you, only can be recontract via sign up on web site only. this deal CSO they cant do anything. just use the link to sign up and try recontract. do note that alot of ppl got rejected for recontract

Yep, I did sign up but got rejected multiple times. That's why I contacted them to ask why and to request for same recontract but no response till date.

Yep, I did sign up but got rejected multiple times. That's why I contacted them to ask why and to request for same recontract but no response till date.

Just wondering if you get extra 120GB or 300GB extra data in the app. If yes you may want to stay as most likely you can continue using the plan at S$15.28 per month, just no Malaysia roaming data, until 2028.

But if you did not get the extra data and extension of the discount, or if you need the Malaysia Roaming Data, you may want to port out ...

I'm not sure about this cos my contract officially ends next tues. The latest bill i received a few days ago, they billed me for caller ID and 5g access, and the plan wise the price increased.

I will highly likely port out as I don't see it worth the price, given that there's other plans out there offering international roaming and cheaper.

Looks like this is the usual outcome recently for the S$15.28 plan.

The data can be 160GB or 340GB after the extension to 2028 based on the reports.

50GB Malaysia roaming data will be gone.

Recontract request will be rejected.

For those who need the 50GB Malaysia Roaming data, you may need to port out, or maybe you can try to negotiate with SingTel to see if they can add that back (but this may be difficult).

Basically this S$15.28 plan (or similar plans dated back to at least Dec 2019 at S$25 or S$20, S$20.37 in 2024 and S$15.28 since 2025) is a special recontract offer by SingTel. It is really up to SingTel to accept or reject the recontract request.

Previously they seldom rejected such recontract requests. Now they seem to change the policy.

We may need to wait a bit to see whether SingTel reverts the policy again or not. If not, I guess it is going to be the end of S$15.28 plan. They may either keep the S$20.37 offer or totally kill the S$15.28/S$20.37 plans.

Take note the S$20.37 offer is not good now since there is the S$19.25 5G+ Enhanced Lite plan Recontract offer with more local data and better roaming bundles.

Worst case is that they learn from Starhub and kill all the S$15.28, S$20.37 and S$19.25 offers.

You can see the public website has the lowest priced plan at S$24.5 port-in promotion pricing for the Enhanced Lite plan (usual price at S$35 per month) with 12 month contract. Lowest priced no contract plan is the Enhanced Core plan at S$36 port-in promotion pricing (usual price at S$40 per month).
