chat with Singtel whatsapp SA a few days ago regarding my expiring plan, whether it is possible to recontract at the same price of $15.28 at the same terms. the SA said will get back to me but no respond. dropped a message early this morning to check any updates, till now, the whatsapp message is still 1 tick.

guess singtel don't want me as a customer anymore, time to port out :spin:
the 15.28 they are unable to check for you, only can be recontract via sign up on web site only. this deal CSO they cant do anything. just use the link to sign up and try recontract. do note that alot of ppl got rejected for recontract

Yep, I did sign up but got rejected multiple times. That's why I contacted them to ask why and to request for same recontract but no response till date.

Just wondering if you get extra 120GB or 300GB extra data in the app. If yes you may want to stay as most likely you can continue using the plan at S$15.28 per month, just no Malaysia roaming data, until 2028.

But if you did not get the extra data and extension of the discount, or if you need the Malaysia Roaming Data, you may want to port out ...

I'm not sure about this cos my contract officially ends next tues. The latest bill i received a few days ago, they billed me for caller ID and 5g access, and the plan wise the price increased.

I will highly likely port out as I don't see it worth the price, given that there's other plans out there offering international roaming and cheaper.

Looks like this is the usual outcome recently for the S$15.28 plan.

The data can be 160GB or 340GB after the extension to 2028 based on the reports.

50GB Malaysia roaming data will be gone.

Recontract request will be rejected.

For those who need the 50GB Malaysia Roaming data, you may need to port out, or maybe you can try to negotiate with SingTel to see if they can add that back (but this may be difficult).
Singtel expecting more people going to Johor after RTS is running ?

I asked CSO say is When your phone's carrier label suddenly changes to "Singtel 5G+ | Enhanced Network. Priority Access", it means your mobile line has been successfully connected to Singtel's upgraded 5G+ network infrastructure.

Basically this S$15.28 plan (or similar plans dated back to at least Dec 2019 at S$25 or S$20, S$20.37 in 2024 and S$15.28 since 2025) is a special recontract offer by SingTel. It is really up to SingTel to accept or reject the recontract request.

Previously they seldom rejected such recontract requests. Now they seem to change the policy.

We may need to wait a bit to see whether SingTel reverts the policy again or not. If not, I guess it is going to be the end of S$15.28 plan. They may either keep the S$20.37 offer or totally kill the S$15.28/S$20.37 plans.

Take note the S$20.37 offer is not good now since there is the S$19.25 5G+ Enhanced Lite plan Recontract offer with more local data and better roaming bundles.

Worst case is that they learn from Starhub and kill all the S$15.28, S$20.37 and S$19.25 offers.

You can see the public website has the lowest priced plan at S$24.5 port-in promotion pricing for the Enhanced Lite plan (usual price at S$35 per month) with 12 month contract. Lowest priced no contract plan is the Enhanced Core plan at S$36 port-in promotion pricing (usual price at S$40 per month).

Starhub has raised the price of the cheapest 5G Lite plan from S$22 to S$25 and now S$28 per month this year. Take note they have removed 5G Lite plan from Passion Card offer.

Anyone able to share is there any different for Senior plan for postpaid and hi prepaid?

if no different on the network, hi with $1 more with data roaming will be more preferred.

You can check out the following thread to see the comparison between Singtel SIM Only (higher priority) versus SingTel hi! SIM Only plans (lower priority but with better roaming benefits).

Thread 'I dont understand Singtel's pricing' https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/i-dont-understand-singtels-pricing.7219038/

Since you like the roaming data bundles of the SingTel hi! Senior plan at S$7 per month, you can always give it a try to see if it is good for your use case. If not good, then come back to SingTel Senior Plan at S$6 per month (promotion pricing, usual price at S$12 per month).

Each user may have different use cases. For example many seniors are using the S$5 per month eight 4G or SIMBA Senior plan, which would be much worse for local usage compared to SingTel hi! S$7 Senior Plan and Gomo S$6 Senior Plan, yet there must be reasons they are using those two plans (eg: better roaming features, like free roaming voice; or lower cost due to top-up offers).

Some seniors may choose to go with two plans, for example, SingTel Senior Plan for local usage and SIMBA Senior Plan for roaming.

FYI, Lite plan is still available with the 20% discount with the promo code: PACOMESN (PAssion card discount code).

1. Thanks.

Indeed the terms and conditions mention this.

https://www.starhub.com/content/dam...exclusive-offers-for-passion-card-members.pdf

• PAssion Card Exclusive: 20% off 5G Lite Plan — only applicable to new sign-ups or port-ins only.

• Sign up at any StarHub Shops, by presenting your PAssion Card / PAssion e-Card at any StarHub Shop. 20% Plan promotion is valid from 13 November 2025 to 31 December 2026.

2. I used to recommend Starhub 5G Lite plan as an alternative to the SingTel S$15.28 plan when the price was at S$17.6 per month with Passion Card offer (S$22 usual price). At current price of S$22.60 with Passion Card offer (S$28 usual price), I do not think it is a good alternative, unless you like the free roaming voice and roaming SMS function very much.

Starhub 5G Lite plan (no contract)

When roaming overseas
Unlimited calls & SMS (incoming & outgoing), 165 destinations
1GB global data, 165 destinations
1GB SEA data

When in Singapore
200GB data, 1,000 mins & 1000 SMS

I called in 1688 and manage to recontract both my lines to $15.28 SIM only plans (50GB Malaysia Roaming + 340GB local data).

Great to see new reports of success.

Just wondering if you have clicked the Recontract link and got rejected before calling 1688. Thanks.

I did not click any link. My contract (M plan+1 supplementary line) is ending so I just called in 1688 and see what the sales consultant can offer me.

So the sales straight away offer you the SIM Only? Or you needed to ask more
