I have 2 ST lines, one is the regular 5G Enhanced bundled with S plan, and this 60 days Priority access.
The speed jump is not noticeable for daily activities. I feel it's capped on purpose. Once my corp plan expires, I will stick to SIM Only since I won't be enjoying the discounts on corp plan on my next re-contract. Phone cost + monthly doesn't make sense without those big corp discount.

The Enhanced and Priority+ don't really have a difference. I was near the Marina Bay fireworks area on Saturday and tested.

anyone tested for underground train travels? be it any lines, i only know it’s working well enough for nel and tel, the rest like nsl and dtl really rabak

SingTel 5G+ NSA (usually MVNO) vs Standard 5G+ SA vs 5G+ Enhanced vs 5G+ Priority at same area.

mine not on 5G+ enhanced yet but the stretch from lavender to raffles place underground network is poor. No connection even with the 2-3 bars of 5G in a crowded train. In an emptier train, u can get some connection but netflix will be like 240p quality kind - blurry.

I ever see that happened, but its engineers testing 3 telcos back then, walking surveying with their laptops at an new industrial building with poor reception throughout the entire building. Many tenant complained for months until they finally install base stations in the building. They entered my office premises and did the survey, 1 bar or none for all telcos

Surprisingly newer lines like DTL, same experience. Some parts of the tunnel the hand over of signal between base station is not seamless, sometimes total loss of signal. Even for phone calls, it will drop. There used to be a signal gap between Beauty World > Hillview, before Hume Station opened.

Other than tunnels, BKE express way where the satellite station and near the animal crossing bridge, that area is spotty for SingTel

To assess LTE/5G signal strength on an iPhone.

Turn off Wifi
Dial *3001#12345#*


1. Understanding dBm:
  • dBm is a logarithmic unit of measurement, meaning each 3 dB increase represents a doubling of the signal power.
  • The typical range for cell signal strength is between -110 dBm and -30 dBm.
  • A negative dBm value closer to zero is better. For instance, -60 dBm is better than -90 dBm.
2. Signal Strength Interpretation:
  • Excellent: -50 dBm to -70 dBm (4-5 bars).
  • Good: -70 dBm to -85 dBm (3-4 bars).
  • Weak: -85 dBm to -100 dBm (1-2 bars).
  • Poor: Below -100 dBm (0-1 bar).
