For sim only Core plan with new phone on paylater 36 months, $5 cash back will be credited to Singtel bill every month for 36 months?

What if i later decide to settle the outstanding phone price early (e.g. pay remaining balance lump sump 18 months after paylater agreement commence), will I still be eligible for the monthly cash back?

A $5 cashback for 36 months constitutes another form of contract that binds you for the full 36-month period. Logically, you would forfeit the cashback once you settle the remaining instalments in full.

Not sure about the binding part as it’s no contract sim only plan. Are you referring to the phone itself? Halfway through the 36 months, I can always port out the sim only plan to another telco but still get the monthly cash back on my Singtel bill? As technically I still have a paylater contract to fulfil for the phone. Correct me if I’m wrong

Anyone know if it’s still possible to not open a sealed iPhone purchased at physical Singtel shop for inspection/activation purpose? Would like to sell the new phone in sealed condition for a higher price

am under CIS plan and my HR told me to recontract at physical Singtel shop to continue enjoying CIS plan pricing. Online will be public rate and will need 1-2 bill cycles to convert to CIS rate (need to call Singtel for manual adjustment)

I doubt it, as your phone is linked to your plan.

Recontract CIS online? ask for delivery? Those over the counter ALWAYS insist on opening sealed box. Non-negotiable.

I believe the cashback will be forfeited IIRC.

Anyone still using the free 2 month SingTel 5G priority + trail during the SG60 promotion? Mine supposed to expire yesterday but today still have network. I remember it will auto cancel at the end without us having to do anything 🤔

I just requested to terminate the line via the app & it’s immediate. The free line ending on 27 Sep.

The CSO said the bill of $40.33 was for an advanced charges for the monthly service.

Hi all,

For those who have the Priority 5G eSIM trial plan,

Can I confirm that you can just ignore the priority plan charges in the Singtel bill that have been generated for the upcoming month (i.e. in advance)?

The 5G trial plan will also automatically just terminate at the end of 2 months from Singtel's end correct? No need for the customer to do anything if customer's intention is not to continue, yes?
