How about learning how to manage your data wisely? Set data limits on your phones, set data usage reminders on your phones, and pop a reminder if your data usage exceeds a certain threshold.

If data limit set is reached, turn off data automatically. These are the settings you can do on your phone. Nothing to do with singtel or other telco providers.

If you are using beyond the data limit it's not considered overcharge ma, rather you have to pay more than your monthly subscription plan amount due to exceeding your entitlement. Either upgrade to a higher data plan or switch to mvno for more data/cheaper monthly commitment.

after free period is auto chargeable if you dont cancel

recently changed from xo plan to sim only plan, just want to ask, for their auto roam add-on, is it charged? I login to Singtel app,saw it is $10/mth, to use the free Malaysia roaming, I thought has to subscribe to the Auto roam first?

if you got the free Malaysia roaming, you can just use it without adding on anything.

You might want to subscribe to “AutoReadyRoam” so that Singtel will auto extend your data roam with charges if you run out of data in Malaysia

Anyone tried getting out of contract without terminating line for singtel plan? Currently have a singtel line in contract that i want to port out. I dont mind paying the fees but whatsapp CSO said it isnt possible to get out of contract and only can recontract or terminate

managed to recontract to the $15 plan from the $32 sim only plan with about 2.5mths of contract remaining.

seems like 3 mths or lesser you can try liao.

I tried at the start of the mth but wasn't successful as i still had about 3mth+ left.
