Already compared before $15 and priority free trial. 0 difference whatsoever.

Only true benefit is during concerts/f1

Maybe good at congested areas like Orchard MRT Station underground areas (inside the train or the platform) during peak hours.

Have you tested North South Line CBD areas? Thanks.

If you read the post, "5G+ Enhanced" is still not good with connection drop. What about "5G+ Priority"?

This is not to say I am interested to pay higher than S$15.28 per month to Singtel though. I can tahan 10 seconds connection breakdown. :ROFLMAO:

Happy to report that the 19.25 plan worked rather well during this morning peak hour ride 830-9. I was able to listen to radio, read news article, Reddit, received WA. Connection broke between Bishan to Braddel which require a manual trigger to restart radio. Just leaving orchard, connection went down for like 10 secs but doesn’t require manual restart (it auto connect back).

these are vast majority improvements than compared to vivifi where I could not do any one of those single item above.

Unfortunately didn't test more during trial. But at crowded shopping malls like vivo I felt 0 difference too.

The other post you quoted the guy comparing 5g to vivifi 4g iirc

I see.

I am not talking about the comparison, but about the his experiences with his new SingTel "Enhanced Lite" S$19.25 per month CIS offer, which has the "5G+ Enhanced" Label, yet still has two times connection breakdowns on North South MRT Line during peak hours.

Also the newer iphones (16 & above) seem to have better 5G modems and can hit 1000mbps+ , older models such as iphone 14 not able to hit more than 700mbps i noticed.

Nice.

iPhones are lagging behind in terms of signal reception and WiFi spec. Good to know there are some improvement on the 5G speed.

On the other hand, my 2022 sub S$400 Xiaomi Poco X4 GT can already do that. along with the 2025 sub $400 Poco X7 Pro.

Singtel SIM Only plan, Poco X4 GT result back in Oct 2023.

Recent result with Poco X7 Pro.

Ur speed is really good considering this is the $15 bucks plan. My starhub highest end plan can hit only 900+ using samsung fold 7 .lol.

I guess to have an apple to apple comparison, need to compare using the same device, day/time, location and test server for objective fairness:

  • S$15.28 5G+ plan
  • any 5G+ Enhanced plan
  • any 5G+ Priority plan
I did their Priority Ultra trial to compare with my $15.28 plan back in July. No difference and that priority badge is like participation cert lol

For those on the $15.28 plan, anyone can confirm that you have access to Priority Pass, be it the 48 hr or monthly option? Thanks!

Has anyone used the app to change physical to eSIM? I can't seem to do it, got an error message.

Will the eSIM be sent via email, or need to use the designated device to make the request?

Might have to face Silly Shirley on D-day, if no solution...

contacting them via whatsapp works, although you need to get hold of the live agent with is a PITA to do so

Should be fine.

Tell Silly Shirley that she is not up to task and you need to have access to a human being.

Sometimes I am a bit impatient and just ask her to go away two times and she does listen and get a human (probably not happy).

Ya, tried to be nice but she's so stubborn that I ended up having to be mean then had to shoo her away. So I'm normal. 🤭

Yes I usually use WhatsApp SingTel.

Still need to go bypass Shirley...

Same for StarHub WhatsApp, you need to go bypass the unnamed chatbot (very stupid one) as well.

Worse about StarHub, after the stupid useless answer they will have advertisement.

Then they will ask you to rate the chatbot. I just give a "1" rating. Then they will have another advertisement...

ST just have to repeat twice then can head straight to CSO.
SH also once/twice to direct to CSO, but SH will drop you if no response with their SLA of 7mins. :s13:

WhatsApp chat is where we've to bypass Silly Shirley.

Twice? I'd to repeat many times until I finally told her to just pass it on since she couldn't even understand anything. Well, I suspect there's someone watching our exchanges before finally taking over.
