Hi,

I've a question.

- sim only plus 30 (15.28), contract ending on 4/4/2027
- Enhanced Lite plan (24.50), 2x contracts ending on 16/8/2026

Can the above 3 lines recontract now to this 19.25 plan? I suppose can, right?

Note: it was previously reported in this thread that 24.50 plan cannot be recontracted directly to 15.28 plan, right?

1) I believe it should be fine for the following.
- two Enhanced Lite plan (24.50), 2x contracts ending on 16/8/2026

2) As for the S$15.28 line, you have to try and let us know. They may accept as this may be considered as an upgrade.
- sim only plus 30 (15.28), contract ending on 4/4/2027

3) There were reports that Singtel rejected the "downgrade" from the 5G Enhanced Lite plan to the S$15.28 plan.

On the other hand, Singtel does accept those from the no contract S$40 Enhanced Core plan.

Got the same slow speed for NSL Underground MRT Stations this afternoon (Saturday afternoon, around 4:20pm). Still able to browse the HWZ forum though.

Please refer to early reports of the NSL user experience for the S$19.25 SingTel 5G+ Enhanced Lite plan, back in Nov 2025.
any other reports? 1a2a3a was comparing with his vivifi 4g plan, so not really a fair comparison and doesn’t show if there’s a diff between $15.28 and enhanced plans

Not to see his comparison with VIVIFI 4G, but to compare his report with my reports of S$15.28 plan. Mine shows no service interrupt even with slow speed. His report shows Service Interrupt. But this could be due to the different test time.

But it is always to hear more recent reports of Singtel mobile users experience for NSL Underground MRT stations (especially between Somerset and Novena) with different 5G+ plans.

Earlier comments in Oct 2025. He did not experience any significant improvements for the 5G+ Enhanced plan over the S$15.28 5G+ plans

My personal take on Singtel SIM Only plans.

I have experienced all 3 different type of plans.

1. SIM Only 5G+ $15.28/month - this is their best offering despite 12-months contract. Comes with 5G+ which is what most people would need. Of course, this plan is subjected to eligibility; if anyone is eligible and wants to be on Singtel MNO, this is the plan.
2. Enhanced 5G+ plan - I personally think this is the most useless one. I do not experience any significant improvements over the 5G+ plans
3. Priority 5G+ plan - If anyone needs the niche feature of network slicing especially for hyper crowded areas like New Year countdown, CNY countdown, NDP, concerts, F1, etc... this is the one for you. It is not cheap and on daily use basis, it has no significant difference to the 5G+ plans. But when the congestions comes in, this is where it shines. However, this is not cost effective for most people. Oh yes, during the NDP free eSIM try-out, if you need to make a customer support call to 1688, you really get the priority and skip through a lot of hoops.

Personally, I will pick either the base 5G+ or Priority 5G+ plans. I will totally skip the Enhanced one. The Enhanced one to me, to put very bluntly, is a "absolute waste of money".

But the latest S$19.25 5G+ Enhanced Lite special promotion may be good for those who need the extra local data and roaming data bundle.

I guess this is not bad if you willing to pay $4 more for extra benefits.
340GB vs Unlimited
5G+ vs 5G+ Enhanced
50gb Malaysia vs 110gb Malaysia
0 vs 10gb Indonesia & Thailand

Normal 5G+ Enhanced Lite is not as good.

10GB Malaysia Roaming
400 mins Talktime & 400 SMS

In theory the following is supposed to be the Priority list
#1: SingTel 5G+ Priority
#2: SingTel 5G+ Enhanced (Lite and Core).
#3: SingTel 5G+ (S$15.28 or S$20.37 plan)
#4: Gomo 5G+, Zym/Zero1/VIVIFI/CMLink 5G+
#5: SingTel hi! 5G+ postpaid and Singtel hi! 5G+ prepaid (maybe the same as #4 though)

The question is whether you really experience the differences or not, and whether the differences matter to you or not.

For example, #4 and #5 offer much better roaming bundles and some users may prefer to go with them even with some disadvantages for local usage. They do not have contract, unlike S$15.28 plan and the 5G+ Enhanced plan which have 12 months contract.

Then some users prefer to pay for the best -- so they go with 5G+ Priority.

Nothing wrong, just choose whatever you are comfortable with.

I am sticking to the S$15.28 plan for the main line now but I have other backup plans.

In case Singtel no longer offers the S$15.28 plan, I may well consider StarHub Prepaid S$15 plan, M1 Maxx S$12 plan or Singtel hi! S$15 plan.

So far that did not happen yet. Singtel has been offering the special recontract offer since at least late 2020 (around S$20 initially, then S$15.28 since 2025).

I applied for the new discounted Enhanced Lite plan immediately upon seeing xiaofan message for all 3 of my lines.

1) the two old Enhanced Lite plan (24.50) were immediately recontracted to the cheaper price within 4 hours of submission.

2) the 15.28 sim only plus 30 has no news yet and is still awaiting reply. I bet it might be in some escalation process for approval. No hurry.

As usual, xiaofan is giving sharp textbook answer on this forum!

No mention of such limitations from Gomo website. Just go ahead to see if they will reject or not.
https://www.gomo.sg/plan-detail/53

FYI, there is an option to choose Gomo later if you want to port back into SingTel S$12 senior plan. Not possible to choose Singtel or Singtel hi! for port-in.

Hi xiaofan; for the SingTel 1 year sim only plan; when will be the right time to renew when it expires? To avoid any additional charges (like caller ID) if any when the plan expires. Thanks.

One month should be fine. Some users do it earlier like two months.

I reading fine print of 19.25 plan with ai..

Because your promotional PDF specifies a 300GB base local data bundle, adding the external 50GB full-speed FUP allowance means your true high-speed ceiling is exactly 350GB. Once you hit 350GB, the external clause kicks in and throttles your connection down to 1Mbps for the rest of the billing cycle.

How the Legal Loophole Works:
The Bundle: To market this plan as "Unlimited," Singtel binds a 300GB base plan together with the "DATA X INFINITY" add-on.
The Hidden Terms: By signing this promotional offer, you legally agree to be bound by the external, master document titled DATA X Terms & Conditions.
The External 1Mbps Rule: If you look up Singtel's main master agreement for the DATA X INFINITY service, the Fair Usage Policy clause explicitly states:
"When the monthly usage exceeds 50GB (over & above plan allocated data bundle), data speeds will be set at 1Mbps."
