OMFG!! im so upset! i bought the WD scorpio blue today, got the phillips screwdriver set already (or so i thought) and then i went out to buy the torx set (just got home just now)

got home... sat down and got ready to get dirty and dissect my macbook pro (2010)

realized that the phillips screwdriver is the correct size, yet wont open the screwdrivers!! now i need to go out to hunt down a set of GOOD phillips screwdrivers again

anyone experienced this before? the ones they use in macbook pros are soo tiny , and if you use the not-so-good screwdrivers they are kinda blunt and wont open the macbook :(

i do realize they use TWO different phillips size, the middle ones use the bigger ones, the ones on the side use smaller size, so small like the ones they put on prescription glasses

i guess i'll have to do it tomorrow then lol, gonna buy a proper phillips set first

Need advise for upgrading of MBP 13"

Want to upgrade the HHD and memory of my MBP 13" bought last year, anyone can recommend a place or help me? How much will the item cost roughly?
320GB to 500GB or more
4G RAM to 8G Ram

In addition, anyone can advise how to save my data to transfer to the new HDD? Is it using Time Machine?

Thank!!!

You ordered 2 sticks of the 1333mhz rams right?
those are budget rams, that's why they're so cheap.

sorry? but i don't remember theres such thing as "budget rams" from crucial brand .
all they have is ddr3 sodimm rams , and using it without failing for 1,5+ year i'm quite impressed by it

don't by ocz , 34nm > 25nm transition issues , firmware , etc
intel in the other hand is better , or crucial .
when you got a reliable SSD , don't even need to worry about warranty / breaking down
