Bad reception and 4G speed with M1 at Republic Plaza had me resorting to signing up for this plan

No contract SIM Only:

There is more data if you go with 1-year contract SIM Only:

Have seen StarHub putting out different promotional entitlements and changes for their SIM Only plan in the last two years, which "package" are you guys on?

Ridiculous that it doesn’t have free Caller ID. Which makes this a $25 plan instead of $20.

Yup unless you have CIS and willing to commit to to a one-year contract then there is free caller ID.
Otherwise $20 without, $25 with Caller ID.

As this is a 4G SIM Only plan, and 5G is on the uptake, I did not want to commit to a contract.

It's definitely pricier than MVNOs and M1 (I was paying M1 $18.50/mth for 6-mths contract SIM Only, comes with caller ID and free weekend data) but quality of its product service is so awful in terms of coverage and speed. So I guess price is ultimately somewhat an indication of the quality you receive in exchange.

MVNOs are a no-no for me for their lack of VoLTE and physically-present customer support avenues.
Singtel SIM Only is with a 1 year contract and higher priced.
TPG, I don't see its infrastructure being more endowed than M1 at the moment.
So not really left with any other options the way I see it.

One of the best parts about no contract SIM Only, the ability to change plan anytime.
StarHub just put out an online promo for another 20GB at the same price. Changed mine to this right away.

I am thinking of signing up the CIS SIM only.

Just to confirm, there should be a free 100 SMS if bill payment is recurring?

I notice there is a free 3 months of amazon prime. How does the subscription work? Can append to existing account or sign up using a new account which is tied to company's email?

Yes, recurring credit card payment arrangement gives 100 free SMS monthly.
Not too sure about the Amazon prime, didn't redeem it though it came with my sign up.

Was sent an SMS with a unique link to sign-up for No Contract SIM Only /w free Caller ID.
This came after two months on the same plan without subscribing to Caller ID

Now SH got 5G sim only plan.
Yup, slightly more expensive but sadly no CIS plan for the 5G Mobile+ SIM only plan.

Shall enjoy my CIS $34 for 110GB 4G 1yr SIM Only plan till Q1 of 2022 then sign up their CIS 5G SIM only plan if have as by then 5G NSA and SA network should be more than stable with more coverage.

Let 5G early adopters “beta” testing first 🤣
