Does anyone know about this starhub easygo plan? Can those 4g plan easily upgrade to 5g if needed?
My current plan 2year contract ends at the end of the month. When can I sign up SIMs only plan?

Yes. But you have to explicitly enable Voice and SMS roaming only if you don't want Data Roaming. It is enabled by default when you enable Roaming service in My StarHub app.

You could try and call StarHub, request for a SIM replacement, and that they reset your line on the backend.

It happened to me often enough while I was on StarHub, so I called in and the back-end level 2 tech reinitialised the line. A few times they replaced the SIM card. It helped a bit, but the problem recurred, so I eventually switched to Singtel last year.

Damn, I tried calling my father just now and this happened. Sometimes immediately cut off, sometimes rang 1 time then cut off sometimes 2 3 rings then cut off.

Called the hotline, told me they not technical department and they cannot reset line, and they also cannot transfer call to them. Technical department will call me back within 48hrs.

My dad not staying with me so no way I can reset the phone or take out sim card and rub with an eraser to troubleshoot.

Sianz, don't know can bang table to break contract without penalty or not. Now on 12 months sim only cis plan.

Means I will pay the phone in installment + $20/month for the sim...
Since the SIM plan is no contract, does it means I can cancel my SIM plan and continue to pay the phone?

Is there any hidden charges I'm not aware of?

if you cancel the plan, you need to make payment for the balance of the instalments.

I don't mind the $5 more but contract is crazy.

I have other plans in place, don't want to be locked for a year .

I was with Singtel for decades , yes good but not value for money. One day may use Singtel again for sure.

Insert the sim card, install StarHub Business Manager app, check data usage using mobile data. It can at least show the data bundle. Talktime bundle needs admin access.

If SBM cannot detect, then it might be normal StarHub Mobile lines, using My StarHub to track.

Might be Biz+ Lite SIM Only (12 months contract), but 3GB + 25GB extra.
But better to check with the manager of his company, if he wants to know the details.
