Need root and mount rw

/etc/firmware/wlan

Open with text editor WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini

search for gEnableBmps=1 and edit the value to 0.

Warning: this has a significant impact on battery life.

Impact in a good or bad way?

Some lucky guy got to pick up my Hayabusa and decided not to return to me -_-

So I immediately went to buy a new set. Almost tempted to get a white to pair up with my Tablet Z, but end up buying purple again +_+

Upgraded to .253 via OTA yesterday and still kept root.

Just a heads up for those still on .434 (rooted)

Hi! all. I am having trouble switching keyboard types using the swipe down notification bar option. I have to go all the way to settings & assign the default keyboard from there. I have just update my phone to .253 firmware & rooted. This has been happening since the day i bought it & I thought it was a firmware bug & would be solved with the new .253 update but unfortunately its still there. I have tried other Xperia Z with same firmware & they are working fine. Hope someone can help.

Loving the latest leak Sony 10.3.A.0.407 Android 4.2.2 ROM for Xperia Z.

Requirement:

  • Full Data Wipe - Factory Reset, without doing this, the NFC update will FC forever.
What is New:
  • Widget on Lockscreen.
  • Customize Up to 10 toggles at Status Bar.
  • New Recent Apps design with support add widgets as small app.
  • Default Semi transparent for Status Bar & Notification Bar. No issue on any apps, it show black bar even on Chrome.

I don't have problems switching keyboards since day 1. You sure that under Settings -> Language & input, you've already put a tick to the keyboards that you want to switch between? Once you've done that, you just select the option in the notification bar, and a dialog box will give you the keyboards that you can switch to.

Ya. I have already put a tick on 2 keyboard types that I want to switch in settings. But when the dialogue box appear, I can't switch in between the 2 keyboards.when I tap either one the radio button doesn't switch
