Came over from Samsung. Someone please advise which method to use for rooting. Must unlock bootloader?

In terms of warranty claim, can unroot.?

Just have to delete one of the folder after the rooting process, rooting will not void warranty and all you have to do is to do a pc repair if you are sending your phone to the service centre.

As long as you do not unlock the bootloader and load in a custom ROM then your warranty will not be voided.

anyone can advise how to edit the stock notification toggle? or is there any toggle on the playstore can replace the stock one? not rooted. been finding the option since i bought the phone one week ago!

go to the sound settings and there are options to tick/untick Dial pad touch tones/touch sounds, etc.

and latest firmware update is "Firmware Version : 4.1.2 - Build Number : 10.1.A.1.434" copied from above

Not to mention when drop into the water, the screen will crack easily when just drop at a low height compared to Xperia Z which is much tougher than the Overpriced Samsung devices like S3, Note 2 or even S4.

when i try calling people, it will start ringing, then the headpiece at the top will vibrate when it rings or when other party talks.

is it my buzzer loose or its build issue? i never on the headpiece volume very high leh. but everytime i call people the particular place will vibrate. didn experience this on iphone/s3 previously.

I did try to download dungeon hunter 4 on my sony xperia z but when the game start it always show some error and it just refuse to start

You can just install another notification bar below the stock bar, download the Notification Toggle from the Playstore and if you want function like restart phone then your phone has to be rooted.

Thanks for the recmomendation i have actually use it base on your recommendation a few pages back. Was wondering if i could edit the stock one, or remove the stock one when i have the Notification Toggle. I guess cant lol

I dun find the blinking led notification will waste battery as the led is so small compared to the one in Samsung smartphones which are so big, blind people also can see.

For the vibration etc in whatsapp then you have to go to the settings under notification in whatsapp.
