Didn’t know there is a place to hold wake in condo. Is there really such a place?

In hdb, normally use void deck for wake or malay wedding. Not sure for condo.

Check your sales and purchase document. There should be a clause that states no funeral activities to be conducted in the project. Thats the case for majority of the condos.

I think stack 32 nearer to community hospital (community hospital lower than hospital so maybe better unblock view). In other to be higher than hospital, I think must be easily level 9 and above. If you don’t mind 1001sqft, stack 19 is not bad because the design is a bit like dumb bell layout. 1 bedroom will get some east sun. But it is further in so more privacy due to distance. If 27, 31 and 32, I will pick 32 also considering it is opposite community hospital and nearer to gate also

Haven’t buy la. Income ceiling exceeds. Maybe this week try Ola. Our situation a bit tricky because need to appeal which means even we want, also may not get

Saw the 3D model in the showflat and decided to drop it. Reason being the structure of the grand lobby is merely metres away from the balcony. The agent was telling me there is absolute privacy since no one can look into the unit from the drop off point.

Just curious heavy rain will create loud noises from the golden arch in the lobby?
Btw 500k chandelier, long water feature wall and golden arch are really beautiful. When light up at night, even much prettier.

This unit below is exit of basement carpark and void deck maybe. The open space besides this unit seems like reserve for wake or other events. Can be quite noisy. Normally where will be the place to hold for special event like the wake in condo?

I think cannot hold wake in condo. Dun have a place for it. If have they would have put it in the site map.

Not sure how noisy the grand lobby will be with the rain drops.

Now when you mention about the lightings, I could visualise it would look nice with all the lightings and designs after completion

My immediate thought then was there would be a near structure that prevents me from seeing anything beyond it. Not that there would be a great view; after all it is still a low floor unit and the higher ones are out of my budget for a 4 bedder. Hence, I decide to move on.

As for holding wakes within the compound…. friends who are staying in EC and condo told me there is a clause in their S&P that states no wake is allowed within and in the function rooms. Previously, I have a relative who passed on and have the wake held at the void deck of the HDB flat beside his condo.

I put deposits in Aug 3. until now the hdb hasnt approved yet. No news. No updates. We are the simple case. No appealing.
Any other recent EC buyers got same situation?
Is this normal ?

It was a 6 weeks wait for me in another development; a straight forward case too. My law firm called me at the mid of 6 week to sign the SPA. Yours may be coming soon.

Another person mentioned he waited 3-4 months. Anyway, Michellewuu, slowly la. They didn’t issue S&P, u don’t pay first. Good lei. Save on interest. If they issue next year, then potentially u save few months

Straight forward case also 6 weeks. I think my appeal probably take 16 weeks

The brand is Legate. Anyway can pay and upgrade to ziptrack if want.

In addition, the blind installation is only after key collection, so can check with other neighbours first whether good or not.
