Speaking of fountains, I remember the old Liang Court having a fountain that would respond to clapping.Old Singpost Mall also, the large fountain was very iconic. Remember alot of families will bring their young kids there too at the ground level (Level 1). Got a Delifrance there.
Then Basement 1 last time used to have a VCD shop, quite famous one but their last few years think not doing well then replaced by different shops 1 after another.
Last I remember was a ice-cream shop then an Old Chang Kee.
Even the sitting areas are basement level 1 and 2, you can feel the breeze also.
Now this new Singpost Mall in place, is just a generic mall also.

And I think it wasn't called Liang Court then? Can't recall, too young back then.

Still got smaller shops.new funan dunno how to shop
last time always go there every week to buy and order CDs from Roxy Music
still got people ask on PHsYa even edmw doesn't ask whether SLS is opened anymore
The car lift is at peninsular plaza. When I was young, my dad would bring me to this place “fuma centre”. I think it was Funan centre and I remembered crying cos there were so many escalators.
But I also remembered there was a car lift in the area so it might have been the old peninsular plaza or something. Very hazy memory liao

The revamped PLQ area is much more bustling.
