I am puzzled why so many say not near mrt. It is in fact near buona vista mrt, a quite central EWL station! Looks like the standard is very high here.

Edit: ok not "many" but some

Haven't been to a showflat for a long time. Seems very rushed. Have time limit to view the showflats and probably less than 5 mins only..
Quite crowded though..

this project looks quite decent for investment, it's been long time since last condo was built there , which is the Rochester residence, the 1br room rental can be as high as 4500 (though the size is bigger)

1 bed rental 4.5k? Really? While there are not many condos in the immediate one north area, there are plenty of competition from nearby flats in Dover, Holland, Commonwealth area (few bus stops or 1 MRT stop away). Used to stay in hdb in the area. 2+k can rent entire 3-4 room flat, near ghim moh, Holland v area

Rental is not constant...

Those paying higher rental may soon realise they can save xxxx per month by just staying One mrt stop or a couple of bus stops away.

That xxxx can pay for all your meals plus transport (public) with some left for shopping anyway.

Those experienced landlords will know and understand how cut-throat rental can be in a not so good market...

The data for rent of a one bedder at $4500 at Rochester Res is in fact accurate but that’s for a 1000-1100sqf unit. Sieved thru the transactions, it seems like the norm for 1 bedder rent was closer to $35-3700/month, which is still considered high.

ppl buying into this project would be mostly for investment.

All the best home shopping! Though if u don’t need the facilities, imo better off buying Hdb nearby, renovate nice nice, still have much $$ left to spare. Condo Maintenance of $400-500 each month no joke if u don’t use the facilities much.
