I just feel that this thread is getting out of hand with Ace 2, when official sg is only selling 1 model, and without issues, but people are getting the idea it isnt good due to non-local models flash to oxygenOS having issues etc whereas locally bought sets seems mostly fine.
Suddenly become Ace 2 thread liao :s13:

fyi ace 2 is known as oneplus 11R , is this relevant?
fyi oneplus 11 also got flashed unit .... and they are the same seller. is this relevant enough? or u want to restrict to local set only?

forum is exchange information , views etc....
Unless u telling me, oneplus 11 is so popular like iphone/samsung/pixels.... then we should create another thread to avoid confusion etc. this thread hardly move..... beside during launch and u posting pics..... :cautious:

i think should be rom..... exactly as what Alexz_hong encounter
my phone is totally fresh with new account.... nothing else.
when i try to install app for playstore, it cant be installed. Need to reboot then can.
Then the auto brightness..... even disabled....it still dim all the way. :ROFLMAO:
I received the phone yesterday(512gb version). Tested for like 2 hours mainly in the settings so far no problem.

Will continue using tonight for few more days and update. In particular will be paying attention to:
1) whether apps installation from playstore presents error.
2) autobrightness issue (I usually set it to disabled. But i must say the phone seems to have lower minimum brightness compared to older phones I used in past. My old oneplus was usable at brightness just below 10%, but ace 2 seems to need 15-20%. Maybe I'm just not used to it yet.)
3) any bootloop issues.
4) fingerprint sensor issues.

Crossing my fingers.

chill, i get that this is a series-ed thread. Posting pictures initially is just to show if the wide angle lens used in this phone is bad or ok only.
Showcase the wideangle camera isnt too bad during the initial stages and i be done already, do not see a need to keep posting once point is proven and do not have much issues on my day to day use. I myself used flashed global rom previous gen Oneplus phones myself too, and it isn't as simple and straightforward as what it used to be already since the merger with Oppo from 9 onwards, and that the general consumer base wouldn't know much about all these stuff.

The seller i get my flashed phones from, are not selling flashed 11 and flashed ace2-11r, only selling them as china phones. I believe there is a reason why its like that for now, and that they even have seperate item for global Oneplus 11 too

Link is here for those interested

Hi guys, please be mindful not to drop your OP 11 or at least drop your OP 11 flat on its back without adequate back glass protection.

I dropped it in the train at around 1.5 meters and fortunately it is still working fine. The Xundd case I had did not manage to prevent the back glass from cracking, but I guess it did help to reduce the impact.

Gonna get the poetic revolution case as I really like the design.

oo i also bought that case...... actually the back very thin..... the concept is the side/corner will land onto ground first to absorb the impact. i like the side, can protect the curved screen without hinder user. i think $8~$11

Ouch, i did drop mine b4 too but at a more gentle height below 1m using same case. Can tell this case isnt for flat back falls from the design, is more protective on the corners and front instead

Guys, need help here. I bought the Ace2 china set with ColorOS. After using it for a month, the region lock issue comes and I make or receive call now. As some of the bros mentioned here, I requested the receipt from the shoppee seller to go Oppo service center to help with unlock but the service center said they don't acknowledge the receipt and asked for another type. I requested the shoppee seller but he just said it's the only type. I am stuck.

Question
1. How does a china set receipt should look like? Anyone here tried unlock at service center before?

2. Will the region lock be resolved by other mean? Like flashing to another room or so? Tried to get help from XDA too.

3. Any other suggestion?

The shoppee seller link is this https://shp.ee/yzkvab4

another risk of buying export set. scary.
unable to help sorry.
Ya is kind of my point for the post where i just feel the ace2 discussion kind of gives the wrong impression to people that local OP11 have alot of issues, no doubt there is nth wrong with discussing since this is a series-ed thread

"The community also found a string inside an OplusEngineerNetwork.apk that suggests users might be able to lift the region locking by entering a 16-digit unlock code. Presumably, this code could be obtained on a per-device basis by contacting OnePlus support. However, support might still be reluctant to unlock phones that are not purchased through official Chinese channels but rather third-party stores."
