Most ppl from op12 thread goes for 512/1tb but also cos the price of global flashed region unlocked cn/hk set.

Most general age groups = 256 should be way ok le

The older you get the more storage you need. ;)

Still prefer the glacier white of my op12 cos hard to find white phones as well like computer component. But ya latest tech always want - sour cos not rich.

I just finally managed to hands on the Find X8 Pro and the Magic 7 Pro. Devices are very well built but the OS seems very dated. Reminds me of the Xiaomi OS earlier in it's days. Not say bad but for 2025 looks very very dated. And somehow the entire UI just looks cluttered. Maybe I'm spoilt with the OneUI but it is more bloated than cluttered.

I think OxygenOS is the next best thing after OneUI. I place great emphasis on OS/UI because I do alot with my phone on a daily basis and security and updates are important over other aspects. Coming from an S23 Ultra, I think the OP13 should be a marginally better experience for cameras at least though OP13 should try to improve their video captures. Other than that, I think it's a pretty good upgrade for people like me who upgrades over a 2 year window. S25 might be a good upgrade but I feel launch prices isn't worth it given how Samsung always has better offers after launch. And seems to me S25 will offer more AI upgrades than the actual improvement of their phones as a whole.

Not bad price. Plus $120 voucher is good deal.
if you think about the value $100 more for 4gb RAM + additional 256gb i think the 16+512 more worth between the two model. the pricing for 12+256GB not very attractive.

Definitely OxygenOS. Magic 7 Pro is a very nice phone but software feels like an afterthought with the global roms. OxygenOS seems much cleaner and a more sophisticated version of Google OS while having minimal bloat. I still love OneUI but there is so much duplication of apps and services that unnecessarily takes up battery and resources.

Hardware wise Magic 7 Pro is good but remember it's only a 1080p panel. I think the OP13 is much better for screen but cameras are better on Magic 7 Pro. But better for camera's could be subjective because it's also using AI for shots which could also alter the true nature of the images.

They refused to move out from their obiang OS design.... Looks very uncle. I cannot. No idea why they refused to redesign their icons and looks of the entire OS

Shopee CNY sales starting 14 Jan 8pm. Vouchers available: $120 off 1k Or $88 off 800 DBS instalment plan. Help boost OP sales here. Lol

I think I will go for 13R.

The 100W charger is dual port (A+C) or only USB-A port?
How do you see what voucher available for that sales? So expert uh.

Red white selling magic for 1249.
Oh okay I was referring to SRP pricing.
But honestly, I think magic 7 pro updates won't be regular like oneplus. You see many magic 6 pro users complaining updates slows down once a new model comes out. Like one update every 2 or 3 months. So if you can live with that, I guess it's okay. For me, I feel updates should be regular with alot of security breaches in today's world. I won't compromise on that given I have authenticators and banking apps on my phone. I need to have a peace of mind knowing I'm not vulnerable to all these sorts of nonsense.
