Haiz. Global OP13 is more expensive than CN set by SGD$300. And somemore paying S$1299 for an android phone might as well buy iphone 更有性价比. At least year by year value dont drop that much. Trying to convince myself...
Your pixel 9 pro XL 1k plus worth it meh? Lol. Tho you can already flash CN set to global rom. So can still save if don't need the 2 years warranty.

Still suck big time :s13:

Name change, inside doesnt change :s22:
换汤不换药, software experience on using Oxygen OS as compared to MIUI/HyperOS really heaven & earth. Glad that I managed to jump out of XM ecosystem & tried out OnePlus/Vivo etc.

There's a reason why their budget/mid range can sell so cheap & being perceived as value for $. Really is 一分钱一分货.

And for base model price difference is actually $500+ CN vs global set. Quite substantial cost savings if don't rely on local support.

Same this year i went from DyperOs to Vivo's FuntouchOS to now Oppo's RealmeUI

Both are much better, i like RealmeUI very clean but the personally only don't like the media playback center
FuntouchOS also is decent as well but the looks abit outdated otherwise is good

The Diaper one really shouldn't touch, still stuck with a tablet which if you'll believe is even worse than their mobile

I only have experience in using OriginOS so far, very clean OS like Oxygen OS, can delete most apps that you don't need. Tiagong Funtouch OS not as good, some apps cannot delete or adb away.

I strongly agree. I myself don't like hyperOS. OxygenOS or OneUI is my type of skin for android

Also, shoutout to originOS. This is one hell of a good android skin. Only if vivo/iqoo adopt this for global set instead of funtouchOS......

To add on more

1299 for OnePlus 13 can get you a Samsung? At most S25. Not even the Plus or Ultra, which i am sure will lose out in camera performance, battery, aqua touch display, etc.

But yet, no one complained about Samsung though.... Sad...
Comparing US/UK market in singapore is a no go bro...

Market in Singapore is wayyy smaller for OnePlus. So don't expect fantastic deals here, sorry to say

You can walk in the streets telling people you are using OnePlus, i am sure 9 out of 10 or even 10 out of 10 never heard of this brand before

Samsung give SG about same 138 voucher as rest of the world for s25 unpack why OnePlus cannot?

Imho, 1299 a bit expensive la.
The china equivalent is about 850.
I think 1099 will be v good. 1199 throw in good ear buds then fair.

Tbh, I molested the phone for a long time when I was in china and I remember I mention that the screen maximum just as good as my s24 ultra if at all. ( which I'm super bored off and want to change) The haptics damn good though.

Can watch this long video.
China with OnePlus 13 screen technology just manage to hit what iPhone is doing with its 13. That's 3 years ago. And yield at 20 percent is nowhere near 80 percent of Samsung.

I don't agree the camera is better. They slap a hassablad colour sci on it to give impression it's better but optics wise might not really be. For sure Samsung video wins hands down. None of the china android phone has good video. Samsung 24 series very close to iPhone liao.

It's not a bad phone la. I'm recommending to moi wife. But probably get the china one. Shoppe stack voucher sub 850 can get the 512 gig liao.

Ya of course samsung can give 138.

Their 8gb 512gb s24 is 1458. Minus 138 is 1320 bro

You can always argue they give high phone trade in value cos of bonus trade up for preorder. But please note compasia trade in value is ridiculously low. It is just all about marketing :s22:

Oneplus can always price their phone more expensive, then give 188 discount to you during preorder also can if that is what you all wanted :s22:

You totally missed the point here bro.

1320 512gb s24 srp (after 138 discount) vs 1299 oneplus 13, and with some platform discounts about 1230, i think oneplus 13 is a better buy. Even if s25 series launch, it is similar pricing as s24 series

You can always go ahead with china set with global rom if thats what you want. But be warned of possible issues of flashing global rom on china sets. Of course one can argue that last year works fine, but still, it depends on whether you want to take the risk or not as a software update is what it takes to screw things up

Hahahahaha. I have high demands for my OS. But it is just me. To me, software experience plays an important role whether i will use a phone for long as it is what we are interacting with every time we unlock a phone
Also why I can't move on from pixel even though I still look at superVOOC charge with envy. :frown:

Yeah man, me also pixel 9 pro user here. It is really good pixel this time, not like the 8 or 7 and before.
I also using S24 Ultra at the side.
The earliest OnePlus I used is Oneplus One back in 2014, then OnePlus 3T and then OnePlus 7.
