I believe the problem should be the local firmware. Hardware wise there shouldn't be any difference. I got to try using it for bus and train today and it worked without issues. So far no one here tried flashing their local set to global Rom?

But my local set is with global rom. 10.5.10 IN11AA. The only difference between export and local set is the model number.

Local = IN2023 Export = IN2010/2020

I could be wrong but can export sets global AA is flashed on top of hydrogen OS would probably refer why export sets do not have gpay issue.. while eu local sets have bug on direct flash AA software.

I was flashing a new kernel and soft bricked my phone. (Got a Qualcomm crashdump) so I reflashed OOS 10.5.10 IN11AA onto my local IN2023. Using MSMdownloadtools v4.0 (unbrick tool) from xda developers forums.

Initially I had fingerprint enrollment problem but it got resolved after I re-unlock my bootloader (not sure why).

Surprisingly, now my Google pay is working on public transport. Both Bus & mrt.

It could be the initial flashing of AA software on our local set was bugged.

great ! much effort on the reflash portion at least we know how to resolve this now.
Issue is someone has to bring it across to OnePlus SG, those still having this issue to feedback them or Mister Mobile.

It a risk to import your own. Ask the exporter see if he can give you 1-1. You probably need to ship back which is a hassle

2 days ago dropped by Mister Mobile. Told them the Gpay Transport issue. But they say they never face this issue before.

get them for support on this.. or else what’s the point in getting local warranty. point out examples in this chat and oneplus community forum unless you willing to get through the unlock bootloader reflash rom etc.
