Sometimes my OPO will also hang and screen black and power button won't work. I just wait for another 1 min and try again. Usually ok.

Most of the time is while I playing CC and then I let the screen auto off and cannot on again...

If cannot then force reset ba.. worst case.

That's due to accidental wakeup prevention in the display and lights setting.
Try covering the proximity sensor and hold power. It won't wake up.

I found that holding the power button around 1 second always wakes my OPO up. Second, don't cover the proximity sensor.

If you got a case like diztronic tpu which hardens the click, you don't need that option checked.

I used to had hua wei ascend mate. Need to press and hold power button for 10 second to re-boot.

So in this case, the safest way is to hold power button + vol up. This should force reboot the phone.. or boot into fastboot mode. Can't remember. Anyway if in fastboot mode can just hold power button to reboot phone.

Otherwise, very hard to brick your OPO unless you randomly install stuff through recovery.

Others had reported similar issue of non wake or see only blank screen with lighted navigation bar. It randomly happened to owners. But the common denominator of those reported cases are running Cyanogen.

It can be due to other bugs created when restoring backups.

For me, other than my contacts, I do not restore any kinda backups.

Had the same problem a few days back. The phone screen black but keys got light. Had to wait for around 10mins b4 the phone restarted itself

Learn alot today, phone will go blank itself and need to wait few minutes or by holding power button and press volume + button together to reboot.

That's the thing about phones with non removable battery, there's always a button combo to force restart your phone if anything happens. This is a feature that the manufacturers have to put or else every time a phone hangs, phones will keep being send in for repair

Also another trick to wake the phone if the screen is not responding is to plug in the usb cable from the charger or a computer. The phone will usually wake up to show you that it is being charged or usb connected.
