I just got an onitsuka tiger from sole central, peninsula yesterday. ( white with red stripes and yellow/gold shoelaces)

I provided the links above for your viewing. It took me quite a while to search for the model on the onitsukatiger.com. In the end, i found it but only when I changed the country to Japan. US and UK are not selling it i guess.

Well I just have 2 questions. The onitsuka tiger website states that the selling price is 14700 yen. That's more than 200 SGD. I got mine at 179 sgd. Why the discrepancy?

Secondly, how come its so difficult to find my design in online stores. The only online stores which sells it are in Japan or Thailand. I couldn't find a single online store which uses English as its medium selling it. Is it because the model that i bought can only be found in Asia or is there something more sinister that i should know?

Cant you buy from the UK store? Or online websites like zappos or amazon?

Do you think a Gucci bag sells for the same price in America/Japan and Singapore? -.-

i checked zappos and amazon. Both did not carry the onitsuka tiger mexico 66 lauta product line. Like i said, its really difficult to find it in online stores. (other than those in Japan and Thailand)

So I believe the difference in price is due to rental cost. Is that just it?

I noticed not every design for Mexico 66 has size 10.5?

Sometimes feel that the front of my feets hurt when wearing my size 10 :(

Im pretty new to this online shopping and international shipping thing. So pardon me asking, zappos does ship to Singapore? and is the price listed in Sin or US?
And how does vpost work? dont really understand even though after visiting its website.
Thanks!
