the guy who did mine was quite good and very familiar with the process.
also he was very careful not to dirty my place. he also patch up all the gaps of the btwn the trunkings.
with regard to using the existing "scv hole", maybe u can ask the guy to widen the hole b4 he insert the fiber thru to avoid damage to the scv cable. they are using the scv cable to guide the fiber thru the hole.
if possible dont shoot them, i believe most of them will try to do their best to do a good job for u as they dont want to be sent back due to complaints.....
just tell them to watch out for those concerns that u hve b4 they start the work.
hope very thing is fine on your installation.....
i m happy with mine and just waiting to sign up during the march exhibition.......
so your is done on January 2011?
if not got to wait 1-3 mths...
mine got false ceilings... only can see some of the trunking for SCV cables through from living room to next rm... but need to install in another rm... so going to be one straight line with some angles at living room and mine room...

hopefully mine also got a guys who familar with the process...
the openet standard reply... install in living room and at power socket and near scv point... either one not possible... no spare power socket, tv cabinet blocking it and it heavy to move and somemore the connections i dont know how to plug back when remove... got 4 systems (1 dvd player, surround system, radio, sound system) connecting to the tv...
see if my latest email to them got standard reply or not lol

Nay. Not interested in your stuff lying around la, dun worry.![]()

when the guy said it could not be done. There's cable point in every room so I don't understand why it's not possible. I even told him that I would pay if it's beyond the length limit but all I get is... no, no, only can install in the living room. He was speaking in broken English and I had a hard trying to get across so in the end I just let him be.
