Hmm.. Geforce you made use of the singtel trunking yourself?

So if like that means:

[Living Room]: TP > ONT > RG>>>>(trunking into room)>>>>PC & Mio Tv

Am i right?

mine is living room : TP --> ONT --> Trunk to bed room --> RG --> PC/PS 3/mio voice etc

no mio tv, but if there is I can just place my rg near my ont. I asked for extra length so I can be abit more flexible

Hmm great. Because everyone here is mostly talking about getting Opennet to go as far into the house and close to the computer as possible (with varying attitudes from Opennet techs) and hardly anyone talks about whether ISP techs will provide trunking also.

Thanks for the help :)

You have to wait for one month for opennet to do backend testing for your home to be fibre-ready and then you can contact Singtel to subscribe for fibre-broadband.

My block was fibre ready long time ago, just that my flat just pull the fibre into the house only. Singtel fibre also signed up long time ago, with schedule installation date in mid/end Dec.

Be more specific, how did you rewire?

Got opennet to pull the fibre optic cable via my own trunking. After they left, I "populate" the trunking with my own LAN cables and replaced 1 section of the trunking (realized it was too small). This is only the mid section of the fibre-cable, one section connected to outside and has a long section of their trunking. Other side to TP has a short section (about 20cm) of their trunking also untouched.

During the process, if you flick, shake, bend etc the glass core might break.

Why they don't sound like a long time ago to me at all...? :s22:

seems like opennet need to speed up tp installation after all the telcos are firing their salvos, blaming opennet for their business losses/
