I was hoping for the same but I also viewed the specs fronm GSMArena that the ultrawide and selfie cameras are only 8MP. Just hoping for the best.
they all like to kope info from one another and then do a review on their own channel/platform :o

best source (other than Oppo official sites) would be those who have inside news or have received review units and share first-hand leaks (e.g. weibo)

N3 was $2399 at launch

N5 I reckon either $2399 or increase by $100 to $2499.

But I remember during N3 launch, Telco (SingTel) was selling at $1899 without contract.

It was so messy.
huh.... so ex..???? v3 only 1899.. more than that, ppl rather buy v3 or pixel.

Other than thinness, feels that oppo should market more on other unique features unless thinness is all they can boast about, it's a very last year thing liao. Probably we have reached an innovation plateau for foldables until the next big thing comes out. Don't forsee that this will sell well. Vivo also likely won't launch their foldable here, they didn't even launch fold3 pro in Malaysia.

ya man, hopefully in future they can make those gimmicky AI features optional so that phones are more affordable. If fancy those stuff then you pay a bit of premium to enjoy them.

From another thread's video, the front and ultra wide sensors are downgraded to make the phone slimmer.

I honestly prefer a 1" sensor / 50MP / 3x zoom with a thicker profile than a lower grade camera with a thin profile where I need to put on a protective case anyway.

hopefully the next big thing (x8 ultra) will help bridge the gap with a bigger screen than pro (read that it's 6.8") while maintaining roughly the same weight. and that it'll go global.

Wait for the announcement lor. For now they can only shout and boast the physical aspect without leaking too much and causing the launch event to have nothing to announce...

Thickness is 8.93mm according to Oppo Malaysia's YouTube video. Somehow no websites picked this up or mentioned this. Not sure whether this info is supposed to be embargoed.

*Edit: video just became private. Didn't manage to take a screenshot..

Guys, what will be difference between Oppo Find N5 and Oneplus Open 2?

Aren't they same company?

Heard essentially no diff except OS. Am also considering Oppo Find N5 instead, especially if OPO2 isn't going to be released here on time.
