Nice to be invited and involved in this event.
Yes. The Find N6 is very tempting.
But price would be the deciding factor.

Had to convince myself to change from Oppo Find X8 Ultra to N6.
If camera focus u shud aim for x9 ultra...N6 cameras definitely cannot fight x9 or even x8 ultra one...

I will wait for the 17 Mar official launch to see if the improvements to the N6 is worth it. Frankly, you won't go wrong with N6, V6 or ZF7. Foldables have reached a point where hardware and design have more or less takes its form. Now is a matter of which one gives you the best bang for its features. When it comes to AI, I beleive Honor is pretty solid. Oppo may win this round for its "near creaseless" feel which makes it more desirable to own if most of us don't care about AI.
Hardware and design can be similar.. but one main aspect of foldable is actually the software and UI...Samsung oneui is fantastic for slabs.. but I feel for foldable oneui is okok only.. got many aspects oppo and Vivo are actually much better in their foldable UI..

Hey gais,

For those who came down and spent the afternoon with us, hope you had a great time and managed to even match some faces to your usernames 😀

My highlight was meeting and talking to you guys and learning more about your thoughts.

Till next time, please kindly only post/share about the phone appearances and general handling until the NDA lifts midweek.

Have a great weekend ahead!
Thank you Dr Vijay.
Finally see you in person.

You must be mentally prepared to let go very good quality camera 📷

I took the leap from s23u and never looked back after using foldables

Camera wise I settled for a 30x pns camera 📷 instead of relying on phones now

I know.
But old man like me. Prefer big screen. Can see better.

Current X8 Ultra is good. But screen too small.

So for me is dilemma.
Want good camera = X9 Ultra
Want big screen = N6

One UI breeds familiarity and that's about all. It works OOTB and most of us are familiar with Samsung...thanks to years of using the S-Pen. Samsung partnering with Google certainly gave Samsung an edge over the MIC phones in general as Google will give some exclusitivity in terms of new features to Samsung first before it cascade to other brands. The chinese manufacturer has it unqiue flavour when it comes to their own UI. More often than not, I find the chinese version of the android flavor to be more intuitive. They may not have the latest AI tools and refinement, but when it comes to using it on a daily basis, it is pretty well implemented in general. Honor (MagicOS), Oppo (ColorOS) and Vivo (OriginOS)are able to hold their own.

I would say based on early leaks on bili and other sources.... N6 cameras are pretty similar to oppo x9 pro..if Ur happy with x9 pro camera u will definitely be happy with N6...

Possible 2.7 for RRP. tbh i dun see why fold 7 users need to upgrade as its quite new isnt it? At least newer than n5 and less than a year old. But if really 2.7 then quite disappointed.
Haha… bye bye. Pricing themselves out.

Foldable not for everyone, ytd the presentation he said foldable is good for video I was like "nah", the real estate of the unfolded is only in e middle, which is the size of a normal candybar phone. It's more of a productivity phone
It is good for video. I always watch opened. The video is still bigger than candy bar.

cannot stand watching on candy bar anymore.

Means you've extremely high expectations beyond what physics can do :-x
Haha. It was advertised as "Zero Feel Crease" and it invited us to feel it for ourselves. So I just did it and it's like super obvious? Then again I haven't used a fold/ flip phone for myself.

For me it's not obvious enough for me to feel that the inner screen is in actual fact bigger than normal candybars..

Ya depends on if have use for those functions, if just plain video most current videos aspect ratio is like not too much diff on the inner screen. Also provided that the app supports that aspect ratio.. but at least foldables app support is more popular than those for tablets..

What's the use case and purpose for inner screen one hand tho?? Might as well just fold back and use one handed lol ...

Book edition will be better.

on the current folds, If watching YouTube reviews, can zoom in to fill the whole screen cos the sides contain nothing useful most of the time. Fold is definitely more versatile.
