Parc Esta so nice. Only the mosque is noisy.

I went to recee the place twice on a Saturday afternoon and once on a Friday afternoon, on both occasion there didn’t seem to be much noise. Not sure if it was the timing I visited.

We muslims pray 5 times a day.
So the calling for prayers from the mosque will be around:
>545-6am
>1pm
>430pm
>7pm
>8.30pm

Plus every Friday afternoon. But we are not allowed to amplify it too loudly. Closest block to the mosque will probably be the one affected. Quite a number of Malays bought that block tho. One of it is my Uncle. He say the prayer calling will be his daily alarm clock.

I also believe there should not be much noise. This was also one of my concerns and I was lucky to find someone who stayed there previously. They did not notice any prayer calls.

As long as you do not take the block closest to the mosque, you should not hear much.

Last check, I think the block nearest the mosque is about 80k cheaper in comparison to a same unit configuration w the same facing. I would choose one on a higher floor (10 floor up) if picking that stack. I went there on a Friday about 1pm that time was around the mosque area but didn’t hear the call, maybe I was not attentive enough haha. I went to the nearest HDB block beside the site and the view on the 14th floor was awesome, that is one of the reason I keep looking back at this project. Maybe would check it out again this weekend, thanks for the inputs!

Problem is Parc Esta is near to one of the noisest mosque in Singapore!

And the train noise is loud too.

But I guess you pay premium if you buy a unit further away from these noises.

I went to take a look today (Sunday) evening at about 6.30pm. First, I went up to level 14 of the HDB block again the view was amazing. Then, I went and stayed just outside the mosque area till 7.30pm to check on the noise, there were no excessive noise, in contrast, the road noise was a little more noticeable. I went to take a look at the side facing the MRT train for about 5 mins thereafter, likewise there were no excessive noise from train tracks but the road noise was more significant.

I guess either facing for the main road, a higher floor would be more ideal.

The ground is still flat on this development.

Honestly, among all mega projects, this is one of those that is priced quite reasonably compared to other mega projects based on location. 15xxpsf to 16xxpsf for 2 bedder looks ok given its RCR location and very near mrt and lots of nearby eateries.

But I always have my reservation on mega projects though I’m confident this mega project should be able to sell out within 5 years deadline. I’m not expecting any huge discount given for this project in times to come.
Park colonial is a good example, slowly increasing its price when hit certain % of sales volume.

Good luck in your decision making.

I’ve been to parc Esta and loved the showflat, the entrance looked grand! However, i am looking at 2 bedroom. The only issue is that it’s beside a mosque. (That’s the only block left, block 27 and the rest of the 2+1 are sold out) Not too sure if it will be noisy...? (Not Malay) so not too sure if I will only hear prayers on a Friday if I take level 10 for example.

Dilemma

I went to take a look on a Friday afternoon previously around12.30pm -1.30pm before Hari Raya, there were no excessive noises but there were many cars parked outside. But I think that stack you are seeing floors above 10 floor, alot of units are taken except 16 and18 (I think). It was one of those I saw too, cos I feel the price difference between the outward stack And the inward stack were too big.

I also went last Sunday to take a look, and posted below my observations.

Maybe you can go down and take a look, to have a first person POV and share the observations if you do.

Yes. I will be taking a look this evening (Friday evening) after work!

The only concern for me was that it’s beside the mosque, might be hard to sell the next time 5-10y down the road? The last I saw, only level 11/16/18 available so still not too bad since it’s cheaper than the block beside it :)

So I’m deciding between Parc Esta or The Woodleigh residences.
(2 bedroom) which MAY be easier to sell. Such a big ticket item so I’m weighing out various options! Haha

Just FYI, The calling for prayer will be at 7.17pm & 8.47pm tonight. So be there around that time.

Think it’s best to come down on Friday afternoon to understand the parking of vehicles along the road & the noise level between 12.30-2.30pm. That’s when we Muslim Male do our Friday prayers.

Generally mosque are not that loud coz there’s limit and guidelines. My Uncle bought the stack you’re looking at coz he says he wanna be near the Mosque.

Well, who knows In future there will be many aspire Malays looking to buy over your unit coz parc esta is popular among malay community. Highly advertised on malay radio station.

I been there on both during Friday afternoon prayers and Sunday evening prayers time before, I think the noise level were very bearable, it was more of the traffic that may be of greater concern.

How’s the observation?
The view at the18 level is nice; go to the HDB beside to take a look.
Like you, I’m also very hesitant haha.

Visited it last night, and fell in love with it again because of the spaciousness/good food around the area/the lovely entrance too! I believe level 10 onwards will be a good view and noise won’t play that huge of a part hopefully! Good for Home stay.

Anyway, partner still wants to see TWR one more time over the weekend before we make a decision. (TWR is very convinient but also, foresee it extremely crowded since it is integrated) Have seen close to 10 New launches so we finally shortlisted to these two. (Checked out Stirling too, not bad! But it’s near to west)

Thank you for sharing! Went to have a listen too, I believe high floors won’t be as affected since the speakers of the mosque are apparently inwards. :)
