The 4 bedder penthouse unit is just 50k-60k more expensive than one level below.
And it is about 200k cheaper than a mid floor 5 bedder.
Ok lah, 4 bedder penthouse can buy.

In fact at 50k to 60k premium only, I would go for the penthouse. I would have high ceiling over living & dining and build lofts in the bedrooms

Some worry abt water leak, this is a genuine concern but any cost of fixing water leaks is borne by mcst.

Last time one uncle advised me that when buy HDB, don't buy top floor because day time very hot and water leaking issue, and don't buy 2nd floor because you never know if your bedroom bed is directly above a coffin when there is a funeral

And in case anyone drives, there is a stretch of road a little higher after Topiary, on the side of the landed enclave, where it frequently has ponding on the left side of the road during heavy rain. Try not to drive left side when heavy rain.

Water leak issue will be fixed by MCST.
Interestingly, I’ve never seen/heard of anyone staying in condo penthouse complain hot. Mainly from HDB top floor only. Anyone knows why ?

Coz for HDB, usually it is not north south facing. Condo, they tend to get good plot, design with better facing. That could explain why.
