I also bought during launch & got my hdb approval in end of Oct...why they need to wait so long? Did they appeal or something?

I think poorly located is subjective lol. Given the mixed opinion on facing seletar, maybe HDB facing or inward facing may not be that of a bad option

HDB facing is the cheapest...but mostly the HDB facing stacks are the 3 bedders.
2 bedders, 3 bedder with study, 4 & 5 bedders are either inward facing or facing yck road

ec always have many bounce unit cause hdb reject la. i shopping for ec like provence, piermont, ola and see the same pattern of hdb rejection. i wanted to buy those bounce out unit no chance at all, sold in mins of release. same hour of release my agent call in, no more already.

Usual bounce unit is income ceiling exceeds. The appeal usually very 10 year series. If the officer is those on the ball type, usually difficult to make it.

I asked some agents and if hdb reject your application, there's no booking fee penalty. There will always be some who forfeit booking and pay penalty. Quite a few will also give up during booking day if their choice units all snapped up. Good news for ec hunters is that North Gaia coming up for those who missed parc greenwich. The remaining units for greenwich are all 3 bedders and poorly located or low floor

Yes, if hdb reject ur case then full 5% booking fees will be refunded.. along the way, there will be drop out units due to HDB rejections, break in family nucleus, etc... but do bear in mind that the price is definitely be higher than the launch day price ya
