. It does seem that 1 key difference is that Teachers in ‘good’ primary schools push students a lot harder than a ‘not good’ primary school. Whether or not this is a good thing is subjective & debatable.
Putting in a ‘’ because MOE say every school is a good school

Having studied in a ‘good’ primary school, I do feel that too much emphasis is placed on academic results (doing loads of past exam papers). Soft skills like communication, critical thinking, creativity, stakeholder management & character development are neglected. I have seen so many of my straight As classmates from the top JCs in Sg struggle with adulting & transitioning from students into working adults.
That said I think this is a general weakness of Sg education system. Can’t comment on a ‘not good’ primary school as I’ve never attended 1 b4.
