Means you haven't heard good bass

In the first place, there is no difference between a speaker good for movie and good for music. There's only those that suck less in a particular area because not enough $$$

If you haven't reached the point where you need to add room correction, you don't even have enough bass yet. And that makes both music and movie bad.

A PC speaker soundbar's subwoofer is only around as low as the typical studio monitor only. Promedia's subwoofer does noticeably better than that tho.

so what are the good speakers and sound bars that are both good for movies and music?

moi recommended that edifier on page 1 good enough for the average user.. infact over kill in many cases cos we mostly live in hdb

personally moi use a pair of jbl lsr305 and the lsr310... good enough for anything...

Creative all the while cheap is not good, good is not cheap..

What's your budget? For the context of PC speakers, the magic number is roughly $500-1000 for the 2.0 speakers with another $500 or so for the subwoofer.

Autistic screeching can also be heard from outside the house but that doesn't mean it is pleasant

did klipsch promedia series fix their "background hiss" from their amp idling? last time heard of this issue

TV soundbar. Not so ugly like normal speaker got 2 lumps on each side of the monitor. Can just raise the monitor a bit and put below the bezel.

Choose the size that you need.

Big monitor big soundbar.

Can go Courts Tenpenis to listen.
