Pioneer does not include stands. That does not mean it is a display set.

Cheers

I though stand should be the original accessory? Guess it should be a display set. Check manufacture date at back of TV.

my tv console is built for wall mount TV so I got the Bluray player instead.

I can choose between stand and player.

If its a display set , I will sure go back and burn down BD hahaha

Be prepared for them to say need to have at least 7 dead pixels in order to exchange.

I know the thread is about 3 weeks old. I just ordered a KRP-500A with a BDP-320. This is my second set after my original 427XG. I was lucky to have hunted down a remaining set. I hope it arrives in good condition. Does anyone know if the KRP-500A comes standard with the speakers at the side?

Thanks!

How much did you pay, and where did you get it?

Dear brothers, suddenly I realised my budget of 3.5k allows me to purchase either a Pioneer Kuro KRP500A or a Panasonic V11 series when looking through the "list your purchase prices thread". Which 1 will be a better choice provided able to get non display set stock on the krp? :look:

Still not as bad, hse will only be ready ard late jan early feb. I also agree to a certain extent panny will be still in the plasma business in terms of aftersales. But pioneer is still known as the best in plasma. Still in a dilemma. Any bros got other inputs?

Now that you said it, I always wondered why people considered Pioneer to be the best in plasma. Is it picture quality? Blackness of black? What?

If u would take the time to read the threads over here then yes, pioneer is the best for plasma, the deepest of black. The best PQ u can get. :look:

i was beoing the panny 50V11 for many weeks already... as the krp500a is simply too expensive.... but when the krp500a went for $3333 at courts megastore, its a no brainer and i immediately hooted 1 set...

That's a lucky guy. Wonder there will still be how many sets left there and will it still go lower leh? :D

Just bought a KRP 500A at C3 this afternoon. Would recommend to those bros who are interested in that model to go down tmr and get it. The pricing is definitely attractive.
