Definitely the Pioneer plasma. Second to none.

At this price, it is a bargain, IMO.

I have bought my panasonic 50" HD ready plasma last year Feb, at $3K!

Hi bros, it's the one at IMM. Some salesman called Andy spent a lot of time explaining to me stuff, about how Plasma wasn't all that energy-eating. He was pretty keen to sell me the merits of Plasma.

Very strange, cos when I went to the Great World Best Denki, they tried to sell me the 100Hz LCD as better technology for watching Blu Ray. Got me all damn confused.

Anyway, they said offer was limited, so do get it fast

Yeap. Brand new. After seeing how they treat Display sets (The guy actually used his fist to tekan the LCD to show me the effects of ghosting!!!), I swore never ever to buy a display set.

I think it's a misquote. I called IMM and Great World BD and both confirmed not selling 509. They are instead selling the 508 for 2999.

It is NOT the same as the KRP 500a

The PDP C 509 is a hyrbid using a 508 screen with 509 video chips and board.

Please get the facts right.

Anyone else using 508XG? I just got a new set (not display) of 508XG at BD Taka today. selling at $2999 but managed to squeeze a Pioneer BR player BDP120 with it. Then made paymnent and claimed some points with Taka Amex from DBS , got enough points to change to $100 worth of Taka vouchers. Down side is that no stand with it only wall mount. Any comments from fellow owners?

Help !! dead pixel

I found 1 dead pixel on the center of my new Pioner 508XG.
Bought the set from Courts Megastore last week.

Any brother out there got similar problem ?
Will call Courts for 1 to 1 Exchange since it is still within 7 days period.

But worry no stock leh ...

I though stand should be the original accessory? Guess it should be a display set. Check manufacture date at back of TV.
