If 2399 for a brand new is definitely worth the price..
I reckon it would be display sets used in the IT show itself

it's brand new sets
i was trying very hard to get the salesman to sell me the display set
coz i've got one 428 at home, bought during the launch
if he is willing to go sub $2k for the display set i'd grab and run
but he insist they will only sell the brand new sets :(

stop making for quite sometime? what talking you woh? they acquired the NEC plant for that production dude......

there is only single panel for Pioneer and LG, and that usually makes picture clearer due to lesser reflection. I dunno what you're talking about :s22::s22::s22:

Guess you have to read some of the recent news. Pioneer is lossing lots of $ is recent years and they are closing down lots of their manufacturing plant. Previuosly selling off their DVD recorder manufacturing to Panasonic is another food example.

Waste of money to buy Full HD for 42" as you won't see the differences!

Google around. Even a 32" you can see a different !! Need not to say about 42". Just put them side by side to compare the different. If your eye cannot see the different. You do not need a Kuro. A normal Plasma is good enough.
As I say before, price will be also a factor as it is going to be almost the same as non HD model.

Guess you should now see most of the 32" are in full HD range.

cscs3 has proven unreliable in his information on Pioneer products. Readers should take his claims with a large pinch of salt.

You do not has to trust me. Just read the news. Especially from those Japaness web site.
Time will prove it as you are going to see less and less of them in the market and they are replacing some of them with LCD from other marker for those 50" and below.

In fact these new models in coming in very soon.

Don't trust 100% what you see on the net mate! Do you believe whatever you read on the net? Wake up...
If I do a blind test, I bet you won't be able to distinguish between them.

When maker stop manufacturing it. It will affect your warranty and spare part support.

Is that mean that if any goods you own won't have any warranty or spare parts support just because the models are discontinued? Do you always buy new cars, watches, whitegoods so on...whenever they are discontinued to have a peace of mind for warranties?

If you talk to Pio shop in Adelphi, you can get a much much better price than what PC show is offering. Prices at PC show is so inflated not worth the trying.
