After few weeks of use, I feel that the call and data reception is not as good as my previous phone(OnePlus 7 pro). I did have a change in SIM card because of 5G though. Not sure if that's the cause. Also I'm using M1, so could be due to the recent downtime. Will continue to monitor.

Did M1 charge u for the change of sim card?

Wishing my mum good health & longevity✌️

indeed i suay... till now no news most probably will be next week alr... misses the nokia days on the day itself can know what're the issues and usually within 1 day can fix it.,.

Yeah, service centres these days are not as efficient like back in the good old days.
Notwithstanding it is more costly now, sometimes people wait for weeks only for spare parts to be shipped over here.

I am a long time Xiaomi user ever since mi5 series in Singapore. Even got my parents xiaomi phones too. My own experience recently has been problematic. Started with my Poco F2 Pro which suddenly refused to charge one day and i had to pay for the repair as it was out of warranty. Brought it to a 3rd party and the guy immediately knew the problem telling me it was a really common issue.
Second one was the fingerprint sensor failing on my parents Poco F3. Thankfully this one was under warranty.
Somehow feel that their quality control has been slipping recently and also they are no longer the value champions like last time. Until today only the flagship devices gets USB 3.2 for the USB C port and also E-SIM... really disappointing.

i think this yr F5 not really a killer. Unlike F3 when launched.
Nowadays there are many great mid ranger phone in the market and phone are getting more competitive, IMHO F5 not longer has the X factor, does not give me a unique USP.
That being say, Overall, F5 still a good phone, but there are much better value phone out there.

Yes unless one die die wants snapdragon lor. I saw one commented on oneplus fb post on nord 3 says mediatek sucks ..

I dont see there is a need to stick with qualcomm chips. Mediatek makes decent chips too nowadays.

Yes i think most still have the old mentality of Mediatek is a lousy chipset. This was relevant in early 2018-2020 era. But now, they are getting better.
