Just to share, I have tested my other device that is on miui 13, the google map compass is working fine and found in redit discussion mentioning its a miui 14 issue...
The current workaround that works for me is open google map setting and clear all data. Need to do it every time you open goggle map.

Yah. This is very annoying.Using Nova Launcher and want to enable the double tap to wake/sleep feature. This requires the Accessibility menu setting -> Download apps -> allow the "Use Nova".
This works for a while, but after sometime the "Remove Gesture" menu will come back again, and have to remove/add-back Accessibility permission for Nova again.
Is there any way to resolve this on Xiaomi phones?
Nord 3 is better than Poco F5?Tbh, if ur concern is camera, just go nord 3
Depends on what u valueNord 3 is better than Poco F5?
Depends on what u value
Using imx890, from my testing, camera is good.Would a gcam on the F5 make the camera same, better or close to Nord 3?
Wah Nord 3 is quite a bit more expensive than F5. Don't really see the point and i don't think Nord 3 camera is as good as flagships?
Using imx890, from my testing, camera is good.
If u able to get nord 3 for 530 to 550, its a good deal. 2 year warranty, better build quality overall, better cameras.
Tried gcam, lmc, agc, all crashes etc. Not sure when a stable can be released though. But from my testing, the camera is ok for normal usage
Hmm, i'm still not keen on Mediatek at the moment. If it's for entry level phone i don't mind trying it but would still prefer Qualcomm chip. It will be serving as my backup phone so given everything the F5 has and during sale, can get for around 469 SGD, i'm good with it.If the chip is the same, at 550 SGD i'm keen cos i wanna try OnePlus UI. I just hate it that all the manufacturers are putting in the near useless 2mp macro cam and only 8mp for UW.
if it is a better UW and maco, pricing will be flagship level lohttps://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...med-ahead-of-launch/articleshow/101455997.cmsHmm, i'm still not keen on Mediatek at the moment. 5th Aug launching Nord CE3, SD 782G chip by TSMC, Sony IMX890 sensor, the India pricing convert to SGD around 400+, can consider if want good camera and Qualcomm chip.
Not launching in SG. Only India5th Aug launching in sg?
How does it spec fair against f5?https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...med-ahead-of-launch/articleshow/101455997.cms

how do you derive from bigger storage? both cap at 256GB, but CE3 have option of microSD. Base on spec, CE3 definitely more expandable and quite better camera, F5 is better in speed and headphone jack. Screen different is negligible. How does it spec fair against f5?
initial comparison, seem like f5 is better(bigger storage, headphone jack) except for the camera.
My bad, the comparison website showed lower storage for ce3 that must be wronghow do you derive from bigger storage? both cap at 256GB, but CE3 have option of microSD. Wear and tear lol. Used storage / memory is also not a good thing.Just get a few generation ago s20 note ultra or s21 ultra
Think 400 ish can get.
Change a batt for 50 bucks and phone beats any of this 400 to 500 entry level phone easily
