Has anyone tested whether Poco F5 can use wifi 6E, the newer AE standard?

Qualcomm's website mentioned the chipset has wifi 6E but the Poco website only says up to wifi AX instead of AE. This AE standard should bring the phone closer to wifi 7 standard since it allows using the 6Ghz for wifi instead of the older 2.4 and 5 GHz channels.

What router chiu using? Jin satki.

Ok. I bought liao. Poco F5 8/256 at $366 (Flash sale). Can sleep liao.

For 12/256gb variant, Lazada all in for me was $390, Shopee was $385 ish

quite hard ba. 9/9 and 10/10 difference also a few dollars only. under $300 i think wait for next year first quarter. of cos i hope to be proven wrong. im still tracking for a lower price since my x3 pro still can tank

Yeah

usually only nearing towards the pre-launching of the newer models (F6) then they start "deep" price slashing of the older sets

but

11.11 being Tiong "special day" and XM/OPPO/VIVO etc ish Tiong product

hope they can hv a "special deals for a special day"

Nowadays not many ppl "willing" to chg fone often like last time

after they see all minimal-upgrades-but-charge-high trend, just look at Iphone

Else also can look at F4, after many rounds of price slashing still unable sell finish

Think 11.11 their last chance to clear all remaining stocks

ie. further price drop till near $200-mark or further 50% off at current $299 pricing

All phone manufacturers only guarantee Android ver and security updates for a certain period of time. Buying cheap and deeply discounted phones also has to take into account how long they have been on the market as they may become unsupported earlier than you would expect. You can probably do away with the version update, but those security patches are definitely important.
