Snapped up a Pro 5G last night to replace my father's 2yo Redmi 7, which surprisingly showed its age real quick. I thought 2+16GB would be good enough, but it got filled up in a year, and RAM is not even enough.

Got the 4+64G, hopefully more than enough to use for him. At $220 (249-4-25), pretty good value for the specs.

I am fine with older models actually, feel that the specs of X3 NFC better than M3 Pro. Phone is for parent to replace aging Max 3 so all is still good.

at this point 5G is just a good-to-have, until 5G network becomes more mature here, I feel it's better to go for 4G phones with better specs than budget 5G offerings. just my opinion though.
