I tot u got X3P already during 11.11?
Initially was deciding between X3P & M3 for my fam memb, but heard of this issue that requires change of main board by svc ctr so rather spend more on X3P.

thought of getting M3 since its cheap during 11.11 but reading some of the posts here, i'd avoid

Bought a second poco m3 after using 1 for 1 year. $160 for 128GB +68 for 512gb microsd. total $228

Assuming 14TB wd elements was about $230 on black friday, and I upload 140GB a day, need about 100 days to break even

M3 can drive Pubg, CoD, which means it can handle 99% of games and 99.9% of productivity app. Switching between apps, opening app is a split second slower (vs high end SoC), other than that it's a capable phone with big screen and 6Ah battery.
Have not faced Dead boot issue, so far.

Xiaomi Service Centre replaced the motherboard on my unit, so far all is still well.

Got the 12.5.5 Enhanced update 2 days back, installed it and it's now on Android 11, performance wise still the same as before.
