That’s the old school since Nokia days of radio literally need the wired ear pc to be plugged in to act like antenna.

It does not consume any data and it’s receiving ota radio waves though will have statics sometimes due to the interference.

Actually curious about the radio function. If we are talking about local radio stations, there is an app for it which also work with wireless earphones right?

I prefer to tell it to the whole world.

I always watch numerous review videos and read review articles before buying any phone. That way, I don't get any nasty surprises.

As far as I can remember, all my Xiaomi phones have never come with any earphones in the box. They are always sold separately. Occasionally you might get a free gift but it isn't in the box.

It's true that FM radio doesn't consume any data but the quality of sound depends a lot on the environment. And an "antenna" is a must.

On the other hand, using an radio app will give you distortion-free sound quality. And, it can play radios in the whole world, not only local stations. For the data consumption, I didn't track it specifically but from my impression, it's very very minimal, compared to watching YouTube, etc.

Listening to radio stations via the wave is the traditional and nostalgic way. I enjoy listening this way than to the "digital" method. Haha.

Me too! For me, i go one step further and think that if there's a major disruption to the internet, at least something still work. I'm the sort who tries to have an alternate source as much as i can so nothing go cold if one source fail me :s13:

fm radio needs the wired earpiece to act as antenna to receive the signal. wireless earpiece no wire, so no antenna.

i tried the fm radio. can play to the speakers, SQ quite good. now i can listen to radio outside the car. haha...

I seemed to have come across reading specs on some phones (not sure if it's xiaomi or realme) that the FM Radio has built in antenna so i think a wired earphone is not needed.

By right that era already have those lighter pocket size fm radio liao, but chao recruit stingy dont have much allowance... haha
I remember had to keep pressing the walkman against the metal cupboard to get better reception. :s22:

One way to feel less miserable lol. During BMT, i don't even have the energy to do anything, i fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow, so fast that i don't even remember when i did that haha. Only in unit then the bunk has radio so don't need walkman. Come to think of it, i never owned a walkman, my first portable player was a discman and that thing drain battery like hell lol

I have no problems with Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 on Poco X3. Able to receive all notifications. What I did is to lock the Galaxy Wearables app. Then set the Galaxy Wearables, Samsung Accessory Service and Watch Active2 Plugin to autostart and disable battery optimization for these apps.
I see. My Samsung Accessory Service and Watch Active2 Plugin keep jumping back to Battery saver even after switching them to no restrictions.

At times my Poco X3 seems to ask me to sign in my password even though I have fingerprint auth enabled. And the notification just all flood in. Is it random reboot or due to Xiaomi aggressive app killing to "battery saving". Anyone can advise.

is it recommended to share the poco x3 charger with other slower charging phone that does not have 33w charging or will it spoil the phone ?
