Never experienced this, touch the button, screen unlocks under 1s for me every time.

Same here, the moment I touched the button the display jus jump out.

I used this link and ublock to check the country using IMEI1 and IMEI2 (SN does not work), but it shows "Delivery address : **" like in the image above.

What does ** mean ?

Checked with eConcepts before the purchase and it is supposed to be Indonesia or Malaysia set with 1 year Xiaomi Singapore warranty. Once you activate the phone it will update within 7-10 days to Singapore set. They will issue receipt with your order, any issue just bring with receipt to Xiaomi Singapore service center at Funan. But i don't know how true it is.

Sometimes the delivery address might not change to SG after activation of phone. If suay suay your phone got issue and need to claim warranty, can try to contact the seller and get them to liaise directly with the funan service center.

I bought my mi 9T from Lazada's Xiaomi Online store (this listing). Before purchase, seller mention that it is local warranty and mention again after I told them I had some problem with my phone. Visited the service center in Funan today and was confirm that it is export set with no warranty. Online IMEI check reveal address as "**". I am in the process of escalating this with Lazada, please do not buy from this shop.

An update on my warranty issue. The seller has told me that they have resolved the issue with Xiaomi and I should be able to claim warranty at local service center. Did the same IMEI check and the address is still not Singapore. Told seller about it and ask them to contact Xiaomi to send me an email to prove that I have local warranty. Just received an email from robin at xiaomi dot com (after sales) saying that I can go to service center for warranty claim/repair. Will update again after I made the trip to service center.

Its nothing new. I don't want to go into another rant about the standards of the service center. Unfortunate its the buyers that suffer when their warranty claims get denied because some people can't do their jobs properly.

Is the lag in the fingerprint unlock fixed?

it's pretty fast imo. only thing is it is quite sensitive, sometimes accidentally touch it and it will register the touch. and sometimes either the button is dirty or the finger is dirty, it will say cannot recognize the finger, clean the sensor. but overall not too big deal for me. i also turn on the face recognition which is also pretty fast.

I have only good things to say about this fingerprint sensor. Have been using Sony phones which also has the sensor on the side, but fail to recognise so often it's annoying.

Quite surprised when I changed to this phone, it has never failed to recognise for me even once over the past 2 months of usage. So accurate and instant is the recognition at the slightest touch.
