Hmmm, icic. There could be reasons that it is caused by non manufacturing defect due to drop even with casing.

But does the phone feel bended at the casing?
Yes. the bend can be seen with the naked eyes. He was using the phone with the original given rubber casing.

did your son carry it around with casing ?
cause if there are scratches around the bezel, it means could be tell tale signs of mishandling.
I mean i have to admit there are mishandlings but i have not encounter a phone to be bended after dropping. Screen can cracked, phones break apart but bended is just first time and the external casing of the phone still looks good.

Anyone encounter the whole phone bended after few months of usage? i Bought the Poco X3 NFC for my 14 yr old son and after 3 months, the whole phone was bended and unable to charge. Upon bringing in to the repair centre in Funan, they discovered that the board in the phone had crack. I can only accept that it is case of misuse but is the body of this phone so fragile?
Only possible cause of bended phone is due to keeping in side or back pocket white sitting down.
x3 design already quite thick, not so easy to get bended

sounds like only a long distance drop or if he sits on it can only cause such a bend.
this is a very thick phone to begin with given the size of its battery capacity.

Drop don't cause bending 1. It's keep in some pocket and put under too much pressure.

Or batt bloated. But that's more like bulging.

How do you guys protect your cameras since there is a bump there? Any good casing to recommend?

Mmm. whats the diff with miui 12.5?

The re-work the skin so it's supposed to be more power efficient, better performance and use less ram among other features. Supposed to be able to uninstall and disable some of the Mi apps now but not sure if it applies to us here. Some people say its really smooth. I'm excited for it for those reasons. Can't imagine its already suppose to be making the battery better to what is already pretty good battery life.

I hope we also get Android 12 cos according to people who tried the beta, there's quite a significant battery improvement and a lot smoother. What a time to be alive! 😁

Any improvement in Android 12 in terms of efficiency will definitely get negated by the heavy MIUI skin if any models eventually gets Android 12 down the road. Always has been the case based on past iterations. :p

Yeah but there'll still be at least some improvements. I mean, better performance and better battery life is almost unheard of after a phone has been released for quite some time, usually it gets worse. But i'll reserve my review until i actually have them hah. What i'm more concern is the MIUI bugs

Updated to the 12.0.1 ... Overall ok, but ...

1) used to have native gestures supported when using Nova Launcher. Now not supported.

2) auto brightness seems not working
