Lately got Simba SIM and discovered unable to make calls, no VoLTE, data works ok.

Have a Galaxy A70, works fine with VoLTE calls and data with the same Simba SIM card.

When to gsmarena to compare both phone mobile band specs, both identical. Or was it specs stated incorrect.

Anyone here any idea why this POCO X3 cannot activate LTE? Thought of using as secondary phone with Simba. Phone still in good working conditions. Thanks.

Got a few things to check.

1. Is the APN set correctly?
2. Is the preferred network type set to " Prefer LTE"?
3. Is the 'Use VoLTE' option toggled on?

Then the sim card slot you got put in more than 1 card? the settings got allow calls using the specific sim card?

Thank you. 1 & 2 auto set by sim. Unfortunately no 'Use VoLTE' in Poco X3

Ok will try Simba voice, strange 'Use VoLTE' not in my Poco x3, but is available in my 11T pro.

ps: it works after 'simba voice' installed.

Check with you guys if you all use X3 NFC with Wireless@SGx. Dunno why this phone cannot connect last time i tried but my other Poco and Redmi phone no issues. I remember connecting before but also sometimes work sometimes cannot.

long time ago i already gave up on Wireless@SGx, connection always drop one. now with many of the sim only plans and new telcos like simba, you got exceed your monthly data quota meh?

I got like 3 phones I use, I don't wanna get a plan for all of them 😂. I have no issues with wireless@sgx when it connects with my other phones in most places. Ironically, one place I always have issues with all my phones is Vivocity.

suggest to consider using own phone hotspot instead of wireless@sgx
