Those using nfc for buses especially, do you face issues tapping in/out sometimes?
The ezlink reader doesn't pick up the nfc signal at times.

I'm using daily for bus, never face any issues.. in fact it picks up my phone like 3-4cm away from the reader..

Ur NFC antenna is located at the read camera bump.. u might wanna reposition the way to tap..

Most of the times it's OK.
But sometimes I have to literally rub the camera bump on the ezlink reader.
When it doesn't work. I'll have to switch to the other reader on the bus

Could it be some permission issues?
Or some dirt on your camera?

Lemme try paying via QR code on paynow and get back to you.

I tried a few times topping up grab pay credits using the QR code via PayNow. No issues though..

Bought this SP.
Its smaller than the factory one.
Comes w a hole for the selfie cam, so that's gonna be a dustrap.

Decided to stick w factory one.

The supplied phone case looks sturdy n very snug fit. The side wall is taller than the screen, so if drop face down, proly will protect ok.

First impressions not bad, quite responsive for my needs. One hand ops better than what I think.

How to set up the phone w NFC so that I can associate credit cards with my phone to start paywaving n take public transport ah?

This time all can disable.

Before keep disabling for mca n miui daemon all cannot.

Now install grab, app cannot load. Dunno why

Can try debloat fastboot uninstall Xiaomi apps if you're not going to use them, reversible anyway.

Need to enable your GPS, open Google maps, go outside or next to your window and get a proper GPS lock.

Then grab will work.

Grab is a shtty app.
