I kena same issue with my Redmi Note 8 Pro. So far tried at KFC and NTUC, cannot work, need physical credit card.

Just use the QR code scanner app. Which is one of MIUI default app.

Payment with NFC doesn't work. But payment via Gpay on Google Chrome can. So should be NFC issue?


Anyway, I removed the card and added it back again. See whether will work.

did u turn on nfc? haha... my paywave works everywhere since day 1. it will not work if nfc is off, which i have tested before.

You got see whether your NFC settings correct or not? For xiaomi phones, secure element position need to select hce wallet in order for nfc to work properly.

i was only prompted yesterday, and i checked almost every other days since the last update was months ago.

after updating to 12.0.8, the top screen for time, silent, wifi

etc icons get squeezed together for some reason
power on n off solves the prob temporarily but it will come back again

Weird, no issues for me so far.
