Moi thinking to hoot F5 or Pro once its price drops

but think might need wait till 11.11 or thru end of year

then they will "heavy discount" like the F4 previously

While I am keeping my fingers crossed whether my trusty X3 Pro whether can be revived from bricked. I am keeping a lookout for suitable replacement. I have in mind either X6 Pro or actually F5 Pro.
F5 Pro is around $170 more expensive than X6 Pro, so I wonder is there anything outstanding to worth this extra cost?

Or should i even camp and wait another month for any coming new release or price slashing?

I see myself as more casual user. Play random game with the hp (not intensive), swipe social media, whatsapp. Camera and good quality pics are not priority to me.

Then save yourself the additional expense and just get X6 series then.

X6 Pro or even X6 will be good for you.

F5 Pro have QHD display and wireless charging as bonus over X6 Pro, which unless you really need either one, non-essential features.

Just curious, on a sidetrack. Does any X6 Pro users here face problem using simplygo app? The app will crash on my Poco F1 and X3 Pro, whenever I click to login. It will force my phone to auto reboot. I was told by some Poco users that's it's xiaomi issues

NO issues with SimplyGo here, Xiaomi Poco X4 GT (Dimensity 8100, 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage, bought in Dec 2022 from Poco Lazada at S$385), MIUI Global 14.0.7, Android 13.

That depends on what you value, suggest to do a comparison on specs and price to make an informed decision based on your own personal needs.
No issues with SimplyGo on my POCO devices.

no issues with my mum's new Poco X6 (non-Pro) on SimplyGo, X6 Pro should be fine I guess.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ expensive is because of the main camera I feel, unless you value camera over anything else, then Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is a better choice, else X6 Pro is a better phone all round.

I brought it to neighborhood beng hp phone for repairs. I received call that he is unable to repair due to spoilt CPU motherboard etc etc, so I took it back. Brought it to Mister Mobile during lunchtime today. About 1 hour after I left, the MM technician called me to update that they tested and it's not battery problem, so they will proceed to check CPU motherboard for 3-4 working days... According to them even if they managed to revive my X3 Pro, they can't guarantee how long it can last.
So while the X3 Pro likely to come back to me next Monday Tuesday dead or alive, I think I need a new phone for sure.
So back to selection, X6 Pro is actually my first choice because I don't need good camera and good resolution. So now I am just thinking whether $509 from shopee is a good hoot to get now, or I should even wait for what 3-3 sale..
